IF they give Punisher is own show. I really hope they use a lot of Garth Ennis run on the character. He wrote some great lines and stories.

It is being reported by TV Line that Netflix is currently developing a series of The Punisher. This should surprise absolutely no one, but there it is. They are only stating that it's in development, not that it has been given the green light by Netflix. link

Just watched this over the weekend. I really enjoyed it. I thought the action was pretty good, I enjoyed the casting a lot even though Foggy's comic relief was unnecessary and Russians are so cliche, however I thought the show overall was very well done. I'm really looking forward to season 2 when that drops. Currently on episode 2 of Jessica Jones so we'll see how that goes. And I knew I recognized Foggy from somewhere...

"You know your one bad day away from being me" - Punisher
That line is all that trailer needed for me to tune in...

OH MAN... I only got a chance to watch the season premiere episode so far... But I'm so hooked. The last 5 minutes of the season premiere was amazing!! That rooftop scene against Punisher! It's better then I expected and I had some crazy expectations. Crazy good fight chirography. This season is looking to be better then the 1st one.

I'm probably not going to start Season 2 until April 8th. I've still got 3 episodes of Jessica Jones left, and I've been watching one of those every Friday since January 8th and I'll do the same with this just like I did Season 1 of Daredevil as well.

Six episodes in...if it wasn't for family being in town, I probably would've finished it all today. In fact, it sucks not being able to finish it...I'm completely engrossed.

I finished episode 4. If it weren't for my damn busy weekend I would have killed the whole thing. I'm liking it a lot too.

Spoilers
Finished it. I liked it a lot overall and the show seemed to escalate episode by episode. It does peak however about 3/4s of the way through before it loses steam. The final episode I thought was pretty anticlimactic and didn't give the characters much to do. As the show went forward it broke into two different directions; dealing with The Punisher and stopping The Hand. Even though it was a 13-episode season it still felt very rushed with plot holes aplenty.
What I liked: -The action is always fun to watch and there's enough of it without feeling like it's just crammed in. -Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle was the best part of the show. Anytime they cut away from him I wanted to immediately go back. -I liked how they were able to work in other characters from season 1 without having them take over completely. -It maintains a good balance between the daily lives of Matt and Co. and how Daredevil affects everything. -The show always seems to be going at a strong pace. Although the problems become more apparent towards the final episodes I was never bored.
What I didn't like: -Lots of plot holes and major points that are glossed over or owed much more depth and explanation e.g. the Blacksmith reveal, the undead assassins, whatever happened to the red haired lady who works for Nobu? I hated her. -Black Sky is again part of the mix but is still a vague tool. After so many episodes we deserve to know what the hell it is in order for us to keep caring. -All of that contributes to a climax where not a whole lot happens and is predictable. -The climax also gives Punisher nothing to do. And he doesn't even use his minigun! They should have had him wreck the assassins with that thing. -If anything in the show feels really forced it's having Karen Page be at every place where something huge is about to go down. -There's no way Foggy could land a girl like his blonde ex-girlfriend who constantly wants to jump his bones. She's way, way out of his league. -Not sure if it's good or bad but the body count in this season is astronomical.
Overall I would give it a B+, certainly not perfect and could have easily been made better had it been more polished however I look forward to what they'll be doing with season 3.

The show was great up until the last 2 or 3 episodes. Everything felt clunky as far as the film making went. The acting seemed off, the writing went south, the fight scenes were shaky and some were suddenly in slow mo, the direction was off. Its like they didnt know how to end it. Mind you, these complaints are just about the last few episodes, everything else up to that was great. Though I didnt understand why they shoehorned Fisk in there . There was literally know purpose to his scenes other than to show he's still somewhat in power. Then he just disappears from the show, no more mention of him. Plenty of plot holes. Wtf is Black Sky? Whats with the blood draining? Whats up with the ninja zombies? They wrapped up The Punisher uneventfully. But otherwise, excellent season.

OK, so I was really geeking out with this season.
Not everything was perfect (anyone else notice the two glaring out of focus shots?)
The Hand felt right, just like the comics they pop out all over the place. I really liked seeing Elektra and DD teaming up, it really showcased the extraordinary abilities of DD. All the way through I was thinking that all they need to do is get DDs fancy billyclub and bam! There it was.
Punisher and Fisk were hugely impressive in this.
Yes, parts were very predictable, and some of it lagged, but all in all that was a damn good job done by all.

Just finished this season and I gotta say I loved it. To begin with I didn't care for Bernthals take on The Punisher, the way he played him constantly reminded me of Shane from TWD, but as the season progressed I started to enjoy him more and more. That's how The Punisher should be portrayed, and he did an excellent job IMO, I just wish he played Frank before Shane.
