I'm about four episodes in and I'm mostly underwhelmed. It's alright I guess, but I was kind of expecting more out of a Netflix series produced by Marvel and what I'm getting really isn't all that different from a Network TV series like Arrow. I don't like the main actor at all, and they've made Daredevil oddly young, my impression of the character has always been that he's a slightly older and more world-weary character than most of his Marvel compatriots. Here he seems almost like a CW character. Also the dude playing his law partner is insanely annoying. Some of the action/violence is interesting, but only in a very budget TV sort of way. I mean seriously, as flawed as that 2003 Daredevil movie was it was still better made than this show is in a number of ways. I'd take Ben Affleck over this dude any day. Kind of puts into perspective how different the standards are for the two mediums.

I think the movie and the TV show are even. Ben Affleck is definitely the better Daredevil and the movie definitely had the better origin story, but the TV show has a better overall plot and the fight scenes are superior.

I'm 2 episodes in. While it has a unique story. The show doesn't seem to be keeping me interested... I do like the actor who plays daredevil though, but like Dracula said, the Ben Affleck movie was a lot better... |

I like the show, and I like Daredevil himself, but I have to saw that the other two in the law firm make the show feel like one of those cheesy CW superhero series.

The notion of crooked cops may seem cliche' to you, but the reality is that it's extremely common. I work at a courthouse, and we routinely have to purge the cases associated with a particular officer because they got caught doing something shady. |

Well, Netflix is clearly happy with the numbers they've been getting. I'm curious as to what those numbers are, though. I read somewhere that over two million illegal downloads of the Daredevil series were tracked in the opening week. I suppose that's a pretty good indicator as to the legit numbers.

Alright, watched the whole thing now. It was pretty good. I liked the last episode, thought we didnt get any more hints as to Stick's boss.
The main problem with the show were the filler side stories. The reporter and girl working together was dull. Really dull.
Its weird how tonally inconsistent this is with everything else marvel has done.

Jessica Jones will have Luke Cage featured heavily, so that's at least two other superheroes in the city. If Defenders hasn't happened yet, it's still possible that Matt and Jessica know one another. In the original Alias comics, Matt hired Jessica and Luke to work security for Nelson & Murdock for a bit. It's possible something similar may happen, leading them to be acquainted during the first season of AKA: Jessica Jones. |

I liked the last episode, though we didnt get any more hints as to Stick's boss. That's just one of many unresolved issues. What's going on with Nobu and Madame Gao are also not addressed. Readers of the comics will have a strong idea of where these plot threads will lead, but the average watcher won't. The big guy Stick is talking to probably isn't his boss, but his partner Stone. They are leaders in a group called The Chaste, who fight The Hand.
Nobu works for The Hand, a ninja clan who worship a demon called The Beast.
Madame Gao is likely from K'un L'un, the mystical city where Danny Rand became Iron Fist. |

In the case of Netflix, it's Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist teaming up to stop whatever Big Bad these series are building up to. |
