So, my extremely belated thoughts on the episode about adaptations: I don't disagree at all about the Half-Blood Prince choice, obviously. As big a Harry Potter fan as I am, I'd also just cut the Harry/Ginny relationship, drop Ron/Hermione as well and just go for Harry/Hermione. Screw it. I don't care if it goes against the books. It would work better for the movies.
