It's been very jarring to see PG Cooper discover the movie "Don't Say A Word" and think about it like it's a real movie when everyone around for its advertising campaign in 2001 just knows it as the "I'll Never Tell" movie since that was lodged at the end of every TV spot and trailer and became a pop culture meme for a month.

So is there a definitive edition of Metropolis? I've seen a few different releases but is there one go-to that's considered 'the' version to have? Unless they find some more footage in a Argentine closet somewhere the 149 minute "complete Metropolis" Blu-ray from Kino is pretty much definitive. There's still one missing scene and certain segments look notably worse than others, but I don't think there have been any substantial new discoveries since that came out in roughly 2010. I saw The Complete Metropolis went on sale on Amazon by a few bucks so I picked it up. Looking forward to jumping into it soon. |

thebtskink frankyt SnoBorderZeroFun fact: I have a Michael Jordan rookie card. It’s a reprint from the 90’s (which I don’t think is worth anything) but I did buy it at the time. This one that sold for a million, I don’t think is an original either. My understanding is that it’s from the ‘87 deck. But obviously, that’s not the reason it sold for a million.
