Forgot to mention a few shows:
Saw Boris (Japanese experimental rock) and Earth (blues/drone) a few nights ago. Good show. The Masquerade (venue) is a shit hole and a death trap though. Glad it's being torn down.
Marissa Nadler with Wrekmeister Harmonies and Muscle and Marrow at The Earl. Great show, loud as hell. Shame so few people showed up though.

Went and saw Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox last night with seakazoo. They really put on a great show. Highly recommend seeing them.

Last show I saw was Smashing Pumpkins w/ Liz Phair. While SP is at the bottom of its quality barrel, it was the best show I have attended of theirs yet.
Before that, I finally got to see Marilyn Manson open for SP. I was nervous because I follow news about him, and he has a 50% chance of trainwrecking his performances because of vocal issues or being drunk/high. The night I saw him was 100% on, and it was an experience that is hard to describe - the dude is just an entertainer through and through, and he had command of that stage like no one else. It was incredible to see him in his element.

Ticked one off the bucket list by seeing Dan Bern's first UK gig in 10 years on December 30th.
He played God Said No and my friend and I got a picture with him beforehand. 'Twas a night to remember.

Next up is galactic with con brio at the old sexy rexy. Most recent memorable one was prob run the jewels. They def have a better stage presence than when I first saw them, but I like the previous albums more. Still a cool show.
Sts9, big something, big mean sound machine, glass animals, infected mushroom, ty segall, Chicano Batman, and fuck you hates u2 are all coming soonish.

Tool sold out in seconds here, phish are coming right after at the same venue, be a strange comparison.
Infected mushroom is up on Friday, extra pumped for Primus. Was gonna go to a couple festivals until they announced a show right here in the burgh.
Mac Demarco is also soonish.
Free concert series:. Hippocampus, Michael kiwanuka, St Paul and the broken bones.
Really wish Alabama shakes would come anywhere near me.
