These are a few I'm going to. My current girlfriend goes to a lot of concerts, so it'll be a good opportunity for me to increase my concert count. Swans - 3/28 (Terminal West) Sleater-Kinney - 4/21 (The Tabernacle) The Psychedelic Furs - 5/26 (Variety Playhouse) I saw Nine Inch Nails last year in Atlanta. That was a really good show. Lower Dens - 8/4 (The Earl)

Good show from Aaron Lewis last night. Not as good as the first time we saw him but still a good show and he still sounds amazing.

The guy from Staind? People pay for his shows still? You should listen to the U talking U2 2 me? podcast episode with Todd Glass called Stain'd Glass. Pokey Lafarge next week.

The guy from Staind? People pay for his shows still? He puts on a better show than most. Even his shows that re just good, not great, are better than many acts. I recommend checking him out.

Forgot to update this after seeing Aaron Lewis. A good show this time around. Not as good as the first time we saw him but still very solid. He performed about 20 songs, most of them the country stuff he has been doing. Some of those were really good, some were just ok. He did solo on It's Been a While and Outside. He was drinking the whole show so by the time he wrapped up with Outside he was wasted. It was great because he would hit the chorus and forget where he was at and start over the previous verse so the song went on for like 10 minutes which was awesome. Even wasted he was killing it, still funny though.
I was a little let down he didn't take requests or do any covers. I would kill to hear him do Sober live. I have only seen him cover it in a couple of youtube vids but that would be cool. Maybe next time.

Come down to the burgh. I won 2 tickets the day after me and the female broke up, then this past week, local bar trivia gave me 2 MORE tickets to it. I wanted to trade with the girl who won the Chris Robinson Brotherhood tickets, but no dice.

How have I never posted in this?
Bands I've seen live (off the top of my head)
Metallica (Twice) Judas Priest (Twice) Alice Cooper (Four, maybe five times) Black Sabbath (with Dio on vocals) Slayer (Twice) Megadeth (Thrice) Motorhead Lacuna Coil Volbeat (Twice, but don't let that trick you into thinking I love em, they just play with guys I like a lot) Anthrax (Twice, not my favourite band but they put on a great live show) Disturbed (Twice) Iron Maiden Halford Anvil (Twice) Rush The Scorpions Skindred All That Remains Korn Motley Crue Goddo George Thorogood and the Destroyers Helix Godsmack Pearl Jam Thin Lazy
I know I'm forgetting some, but this covers the majors. The second time seeing Judas Priest was probably the best concert experience ever. Dudes were in top form.

Saw Tool in New Orleans a few months back. Great show. I also saw Morrissey, as well, which was also really good. I might be seeing Deerhunter on Monday...
A few others I'm looking into to:
Shaky Knees Festival Echo & The Bunnymen The Cure M83

Anyone hear about the classic rock concert that is probably being set up in California? Stones, Dylan, McCartney, Waters, The Who,...
