Maybe Dennis Rodman can go over there again to negotiate? I mean he did such a wonderful job last time and he's so intelligent, I think it's our best option.
He and Kim can go fuck themselves.

I'm still not convinced this is actually North Korea.

I had my doubts about it being north Korea as well. I am pretty sure their best computing device is an Atari 2600.

Look up Unit 121. North Korea has been investing in cyber terrorism heavily for a very long time.
North Korea has a cyber terrorism division that is light years ahead of almost every nation. We have been warned about it for years (from our people at the embassies and consulates of South Korea no less), yet everyone still thinks that because the majority of the country is poor as shit, that their government is poor as shit too.
And Rodman was just used as a patsy so Vice could get back into North Korea.

They're not incapable. But why would they deny this when accusations first started? They tend announce their intentions pretty loud and clear.

Maybe to prevent announcing that they have the capabilities. Also, it hasn't been 100% established if the people making the terroristic threats are the same people who did the initial hacks. Anyway, maybe some good can come out of this. Now that Kim Jong-un has made Sony his bitch, maybe he can get them to stop making terrible Spider-Man movies...

Exactly, they might not spend any money on their people but they pump a lot of cash into their military and technology for just these kind of reasons. I'm not going to give North Korea the benefit of the doubt, and the FBI has come out and said even this early into their investigation that they've traced things to North Korea.

HISTORY CLASSES IN THE YEAR 2114
Teacher: So what caused the great American-North Korean war of the 2010's? Student: Some stupid Seth Rogen movie.

I'm just saying any threats they issued before have been clearly labeled as from them. They do it for attention and to milk aid from other governments.
So why so camera shy all of the sudden?
But the FBI knows more than I do and I could be wrong. But something seems...off.

Crisis averted. The Interview will play in 300 indie theaters tomorrow. But no one is expecting the movie to make much money. Rival studios are already criticizing Sony for creating confusion in the marketplace. Another blow to 2014 cinema.

Yep, available on youtube for $6. Really? Hmmm, that's still a little high but maybe I can get 5 friends to throw in on it and it'll be worth it? Still no?

Given that some VOD titles are $11 I'd say its not.

Another win for digital distribution. $15 million online vs $2.8 million at the box office. And they just added iTunes to their list of distributors. Add Amazon, Vudu and the rest, and there's big money to be made. This could be the death of cinemas. The Interview only cost $40 million to make. It will be tough to call it a profitable movie because of all the damage it has done, but future movies with a low-budget could benefit from VOD.
