Wonder Woman, if only for the No Man's Land scene.

I chose to vote for Wonder Woman. The production design for the film is incredible, with a myriad of wildly different and memorable locales which were all executed flawlessly. Pretty much everything about it is perfect, until we get to the unsatisfying CGI fight with Ares for what is supposed to be the finale against the Big Bad.
I greatly enjoyed Captain Marvel, and it had a far more satisfying conclusion, but there was no point in the movie that really wowed me.

Joker broke the billion dollar mark making it a huge smash. Hopefully this helps light the fire of putting more hard R-rated comic book films into production. The last one I really enjoyed was Logan which got me thinking, which one do folks like better.
Well?

I enjoyed Joker quite a bit, but Logan by a goddamn mile.

It's close. Both are awesome from start to finish and have incredible endings, though Logan cheated a little with its final emotional hit.
Right now I'm saying Joker, but I'd need to give it a second watch to confirm.

Logan is a good movie and so is Joker. This is tough. Fixed.
Logan gets my vote, though. Such strong filmmaking and storytelling on display there. Joker needs to sit with me a bit more, but I will say it's an equally effective movie, more or less.

My big complaint about Logan that year was that it was derivative. Joker is arguably even more derivative insomuch as you can pinpoint the exact movies its borrowing from, and yet despite that it still seems more unique to me. "Road trip by man and child on the run occasionally interupted by violence" just seems like more of a played out idea in general in Hollywood to me than "Man loses his mind before violently lashing out."

I might argue that Joker's highly specific reference points are more distracting than Logan's, which feels more like a part of a subgenre. But really, that doesn't even factor into it for me. I think Logan tells its story exceptionally well and Joker doesn't.

Logan is a good movie and so is Joker. This is tough. Fixed. But it wasn't tough. It was very easy. I didn't even flin...oh, you're doing a thing, nevermind.

All these words spent rattling on about best adaptations, and not one mention of Tank Girl.

In donny's latest poll he threw Die Another Day against Alien. Die Another Day is by no means a great film and is hardly even passable as a Bond movie. There are some cornball lines that were bad even at the time and a lot of it feels like a cheap comic book. The World Is Not Enough though is my least favorite Bond movie. I always felt that it was cold, dull, and often unpleasant, things that a Bond film should never be. I'm probably in the minority that if I had the choice I'd go with Die Another Day because you can at least laugh and enjoy some of it which you can't really say about The World Is Not Enough, Denise Richards' DOA acting aside. I have a feeling where this is going to go but I wanted to see where everyone else sat.

This is simple for me. The World Is Not Enough is one of the...two, I think?...Brosnan era Bond films where I can look at it and go, "Yeah, I liked that one." Whereas Die Another Day goes way too over the top and starts to feel like a video game after a while, not to mention that despite only being a little over 2 hours, it instead feels like 3.
Easy win for The World Is Not Enough.

I've only seen these movies once, because that's all I could take of them. They're equally dumb and unmemorable. I'll give it to The World Is Not Enough because Sophie Marceau was smokin' hot, and Denise Richards played a nukular psychiatrist. In then end, this is just a choice between a giant douche and a turd sandwich, though.

If so I was unaware. But I almost hate The World Is Not Enough so I do admittedly have my biases.

The only thing that could have made it worse was if CHRIS NOLAN HAD MADE IT!
There ya go.

You liked World Is Not Enough more than Tomorrow Never Dies??? Don't most people? No. Tomorrow Never Dies has Michelle Yeoh playing a genuinely skilled foreign agent, rather than the usual run of pretty but useless women spies Bond usually winds up working alongside. Plus, that motorcycle chase was awesome. Teri Hatcher's character was kinda pointless, but even a pointless Teri Hatcher is still a plus.
