It was mostly based on this story of how Who Are You was written. The comparison was meant to be complimentary, more about the two artist's place in pop culture at a specific time than about the works themselves. Cool article. Didn't know that song's origins.

The hole in the paper thing wasn't to explain wormholes, it was to explain the appearance of wormholes, using a commonly known analogy. It also has the added benefit of explaining wormholes to those members of the audience who don't know what they are, but it wasn't presented as such in the film.

Good review, Drac, even if I disagree with a number of points.

Does it bother anyone else that you can view the voters for a movie poll, but not what they voted for?

Nolan I think will finally need to re-evaluate how he makes films, You are seriously the worst.

Pretty disappointed that the OST released today doesn't include the awesome piece of music from the docking scene, but it DOES include a version of it, though not as intense:
But Hans Zimmer has apparently said the docking scene music will be made available to download for free "sometime soon."

Indeed. I might say 5 though for Prometheus Those numbers had nothing to do with ratings, I was just making a math joke. I probably shouldn't have chosen numbers under 10...

Saw this finally last night. I really enjoyed it, although it seemed to drag on just a bit towards the end. I'm probably in the minority, but I didn't like the [blackout]wormhole bookcase experience[/blackout]. For some reason it just felt too... Wachowski brothers-esque in that it tried to explain too much in kind of a ridiculous fashion. I'm sure there are others that will strongly disagree with me on this, but overall I did enjoy the movie. I would like to see more of the future of this story. Not sure if that's in the plans or not though. A solid 8/10 for me.

I wouldn't count on it... Nolan is famous for leaving you with an ending that has you interpreting what happens next... Remember the ending of "Inception" how many debates it started of the ending at the time.

He goes to find Anne Hathaway? Will he find her or end up in another time vortex? Maybe it's just me, thinking too hard...

Way, way too hard.
Maybe Rick turns around and marries Ilsa. Could we know for sure if we don't see it with a signed document from the director?
