Now you can't see the same movie more than once. Just reimplemented today... Coincidence?
So before the ten bucks a month deal they used to do this as well, and you had to upload all pics of tickets to them, which has also come back, and they made you wait 24 hours between showings, that one hasn't come back yet.
But this is very annoying I must say. At least they could have prepared us for it at the very least.
Apparently the update hasn't hit iOS yet, so you tech illiterates can still see them more than once until the update hits.

If I can convince people I def will. Hate a lot of the other theaters around but the biggest amc is great.
Curious about how it all plays out though.
Certainly a better deal.

Sounds like a bad deal to me. Would need to go to at least three movies a month at AMC theaters for that to be worth it. AMC isn't terrible but there are too many movies that only play in Landmark Theaters locations.

The only AMC theaters in my area are total crap. General admission, broken seats, uncomfortable seats, dirty. It's a shame too, because there's one just a couple of minutes from my house.

Took the plunge on AMC. Worth it, IMO, especially as one showing will take care of the membership per month. Movie Pass had too many restrictions for me, and between the surge pricing and photographing your ticket, I just wasn't on board.
With AMC, yeah, I might be limited to going to only AMC's, but I do live close to one of the true IMAX screens in the world, and my work is home to one of the biggest AMC's in my city. Plus, the Stubs membership deals are a nice bonus.
I'm on the wagon, and would suggest anyone jump off Movie Pass to get this.

Twas some nervy times there for a minute. Gonna go see something tonight. Hopefully they still have money for a few months. Got some hitters I wanna see.
The statement they released reminds me of someone passing blame and kinda saying hey pressure theaters into providing e tickets. The theaters that work with them with e tickets are the ones that give them a little kickback.

They're charging extra for "prime time" movies. Friday through Sunday, I'm assuming, as I only just saw it starting to happen yesterday. People were having to pay a surcharge when using the app on select films, even movies that had been out for several weeks.

It's an unsustainable business model. They're gonna have to reduce the freebies.

Los Angeles has nothing but AMCs and Arclights. Orange County where I'm from is strictly Regal. My parents get me Regal tickets for every Christmas and birthday, gah!

Moviepass raising prices limiting 1000+ screen movies for the first weeks. Sinking ship.
I'm an annual member but I'll def be going to a list soon. Trouble is convincing the female to come along with. She was already kinda meh about signing up for her own moviepass.

Moviepass still works pretty well for the Landmark chain, which is important to me, they're the only ones who do E-ticketing with them. That might be enough to keep me on board for another week, but it it looks like it's not going to really work for wide releases going forward I'm probably going to drop it. I don't see myself signing up for Stubs A-List given that I don't want to be stuck with that one shitty chain. Looks like I'll be buying tickets the normal way again pretty soon.

Does anybody use the Cinemark movie rewards? I used it quite a bit when I lived closer to one. Now that I moved the closest Cinemark is like 30 minutes away....
Does the A list give you anything else besides three movies a week?

Does the A list give you anything else besides three movies a week? I use the basic level of Cinemark rewards. For the price of a standard movie ticket per month, you get a standard movie ticket every month, you get to buy movie tickets online without a "service fee" (what service? It's all automated!) and 20% off concessions. If you don't use your monthly movie ticket, it rolls over.

Yeah, and that all pays for itself if you buy two movie tickets online

Providing a method for a customer to pay for the service you're providing is part of the cost of doing business. Either I'm using a computer to purchase a ticket, or a kid behind the glass of the box office is using a computer to enter the purchase of a ticket.

I’ve finally carved out some time this morning to see a movie by myself so I can use this MoviePass. I look up available showtimes on the app...and the only ones available are after 5:00PM. All movies at all theaters. I’m assuming they’re only making these showtimes available because Sunday evening is a slow time for moviegoing? Just a guess. Anyways I guess I’ll just wait for Ant-Man on Redbox.
