Does anybody use the Cinemark movie rewards? I used it quite a bit when I lived closer to one. Now that I moved the closest Cinemark is like 30 minutes away.... Does the A list give you anything else besides three movies a week? I think it's only a matter of time before the Cinemark movie club gets updated. If they did one ticket a week for $10 a month, that would be a good deal. If you do get it, one thing to also remember is there are no limitations with the Cinemark subscription, so you don't need more than one for you and your friends/family. You can buy all food and every ticket with a single membership.

I finally ragequit my Moviepass subscription a couple of days ago after I got to a theater and they were just missing the showtime altogether. Not playing on chaining myself to the fucking AMC theaters with their program so I'll probably end up just buying my damn tickets.

I was planning to buy a ticket to something else completely when I got to the theater with mp since I could get Stubs points but there were literally 0 movies playing in Pittsburgh (not just the amc - I checked) so I couldn't even game it a little.
Their algorithm is all messed up if that's what caused it.

So my MoviePass is still showing a big majority of movies as blocked out/unavailable. In fact it looks like the only thing playing anywhere is Slender Man. Wasn't this supposed to be something they were fixing?

You'll have to pull my MoviePass out of my cold, dead hand Drac.
Or at least wait until I get it paid off, whichever comes first.

So my MoviePass is still showing a big majority of movies as blocked out/unavailable. In fact it looks like the only thing playing anywhere is Slender Man. Wasn't this supposed to be something they were fixing? Supposedly on the 15th things might change. The 3 movies a month rule applies, up the sub price, but they are limiting the movies allowed to be seen for the vast majority of users. They also black out popular days (speculative - but they claim only until the 15th - I remain skeptical) and nights so most showings will not even be a thing after matinee prices. They are losing money like crazy and this is the last ditch effort of a dying company to somehow recoup their losses. I have a list and mp (until December as I went annual almost immediately) so I would gladly take someone to the movie if they didn't have either if I could. Also the gf has tried and failed to cancel mp at least twice. It sends an email saying we saw you cancelled but we're making it better and figured that was a mistake. Now the entire cancel button is just not working. Period.

Well, I guess I can't complain. Since signing up last October, I've been able to see 97 movies with moviepass. So I'm partially to blame for the downfall.
But yeah, I'm skeptical of the changes for moviepass coming tomorrow. It's been a bitch to use the last 3 weeks, but I was able to get a couple in before they started limiting the movies again last week. I'm probably going to cancel, but apparently you can't even do that right now.
The two major chains near me are AMC and Regal/United Artists, and I'm fortunate to have 5 theaters within 20 minutes of where I live, but I prefer regal, So I'm just holding out hope they come out with something. If not, then I'll probably have to hop on to AMC.

Something like 50 for me since Sept. But yea Donny. You are the reason. No chance half those movies were worth it. Hell half mine weren't either.
But I'm addicted to the subscription. Need to go to the movies constantly.

The only movies I saw were The Snowman and Daddy's Home 2. I think they finally caught on.

Uh, yeah. Considering the odds of them not being around in a year are high that's probably the right move.

I haven't received a notice yet of my plan changing and my account still says 'Annual Membership.' When that email comes through though giving me the opportunity to get a refund I'm all over it.

Yeah I think I'm gonna get a refund back as well. Sang it's praises for so long and it ruined everything.
I'll take my 20 bucks back or whatever.

Yeah, they sent me an email recently about being a beta tester. Haven't heard back yet. If the price is reasonable, I'd be all for it, since I usually go at least twice a month. Maybe more once they finally open the one that's almost finished and about thirty minutes away from home and work.
