I've gotta wonder just what kind of numbers Netflix is pulling down with reruns of Friends. HBO/WB seems to be building their entire launch around a show that's been off the air for fifteen years. Is Friends the go-to show to have on in the background while people do chores around the house?

If they are really considering 18 bucks or whatever a month this will honestly be a no brainier.
Now that the big boys are entering though I'd assume they are going to start to crack down on sharing passwords. Probably just like Netflix giving you x amount and has to go through the owners email to confirm whatever device is trying to access it.

Now announce pricing details just like Disney did. As an att shareholder I want the same insane bump Disney got.

Sadly a bunch of that content is already available on Hulu, which it soon won't be as a result. But still, that's an awesome grouping of media. It's nice to see competition like this.

Okay. So, still no reason to get this, then. None of the original content they've announced so far has seemed enticing. An animated Gremlins series? Pass. A murder mystery starring Kaley Cuoco? Come on. Even a Dune spinoff before we've even seen the new movie...are you really trying, guys?
I'll tell you one of the things that WOULD get me to sign up: a show set in the Harry Potter universe called The Aurors.

No surprise. You can get Disney+ as a Hulu add-on.

Is it just me, or does the list of everything that'll be available on launch day for Disney+ kinda suck?

I think people are over estimating how much content they will have. If they are trying to keep Hulu afloat (and who doesn't like getting paid twice?) They will have to separate their content like this to start.
Old media basically just gonna destroy all streaming as we know it and force us back into cable.
I mean at what 70 bucks for a year it's a no brainier in this streaming day and age but that's just the price to get Netflix to sweat subs and hopefully fuck up wb and Amazon too.

If they have the GizmoDuck episodes of DuckTales (which has never been available on DVD/Blu-Ray) and Doomsday's The Mandalorian and all 600+ episodes of The Simpsons, I'll be fine till the next wave of content is released.

Give me every episode of Darkwing Duck, damn it! Hell, the whole Disney Afternoon block, too.

I would've started with Darkwing, DuckTales and either TaleSpin or the Aladdin series since that property's back in the spotlight.

I always forget about Timon & Pumbaa. Which is ironic, since that was one Toon Disney used to show ad nauseum.
