I've been tempted to buy all (now) four seasons of the series on Blu-ray, but I'm pretty content with my 1080p downloads.

I'm greatly anticipating this next season. Possibly more so than anything else this year, including movies. There's some pretty heavy hitters coming to theaters, so that's saying something.

I'm looking forward to it as well, but I can't put it above what Marvel is releasing this year both theatrically (Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man) and on Netflix (Daredevil).

I've been debating rewatching the series. Most of it is so fresh in my mind already though, I imagine I'll skip it and maybe just rewatch the Season 4 finale before 5 starts up.

Apologies for the tattoo post, I was steaming at the time. But I will say that I'd weighed up getting it for a decade, so it wasn't done lightly. It's an image on the rear of their best album, ( ). Posters of season 4 of GoT have started going up on the London underground. They're just close ups of Dany and Jon. The importance of these two seems to be a focus that is going to continue now until the End. |

So who is everyone's favourite character over the 4 seasons so far? I have to say that Oberyn was mine. As much as I admire all of the Starks, the man of Sunspear had me enrapt from his first appearance until his (unfortunate) last. Which made his exit from the show all the harder to stomach. They nailed the casting, too. I'm intrigued to seem how House Martell will react. Probably not in the way that I want or expect, but I'm used to that by now. I really thought he'd killed the mountain though... I was fully expecting a happy ending. Man...that hit me harder than the red wedding. I just finished my blu-ray rewatch of seaosn 4. Damn, what an awesome season. The writing was particularly great this year.

Rumours abound that they're aiming for 10 or 11 seasons in total.
I guess with each book in the series getting larger that kind of makes sense.
Strange to think that we may not even be at the halfway point yet though...

So HBO has released over a dozen video previews for their "Catch the Throne" Mixtape, with music ranging from punk-rock and metal to hip hop and rap, featuring artists such as Anthrax and Snoop Dog. It has been met with a huge backlash of negative comments and downvotes on every video. www.youtube.com/user/GameofThrones/videosApparently this is the second mixtape of its kind as well (I had no idea). Despite receiving much of the same negative feedback from fans on the first mixtape, it must have done well enough to warrant a second release. Either way, it's pretty damn weird.
