Not sure I have a take on this that's deep enough to warrant a video. I'm more concerned by the costs of living in L.A. limiting opportunity for working actors unless you're the kid of someone very wealthy than I am actors having famous parents.

Most people in Hollywood at any level benefit from some form of nepotism or at the very least being connected or 'knowing someone who knows someone.' And the cost of living affects actors and also PAs, coordinators, pretty much everybody who form the base of the industry. Unfortunately what living in LA does is take opportunities like buying a house right off the table and you're either dishing a big chunk of your income to paying rent in a nicer area or you're living in more affordable areas that are 90 minutes from where you work. This discourages people from doing more normal human things like getting married or having a family. It's an interesting place to say the very least.

This online “rage” over nepotism is just trolling. Everyone knows, in any business, that networking is an essential part. As for cost of living, again, I don’t think this is unique to Hollywood. People are struggling in any major city. Bush-era No Child Left Behind. The 2008 housing market crash. Trump. The pandemic. Millennials have had it rough and the Zoomers are coming on the heels of that. I watched Bill Burr’s Thursday podcast this afternoon (yes I know it’s Friday) and he predicted the next generation of comics are gonna harken back to the days of Carlin and Pryor in the 1970’s. America is so fucked right now that we’ve gone through our own version of the 60’s and the 70’s are right around the corner. We’re just waiting to see if SnoBorderZero will hop off Eddie Murphy’s cock and make this generation’s Taxi Driver. I keep trying to be his Paul Schrader, but he won’t return my phone calls.

This guy spends 75% of the video asking if these movies are scary, ignoring that Coppola's scariest movie is actually Jack. Saved you a click, SnoBorderZero.

This is like when the Critical Drinker speaks in Doomsday’s Orange County accent.

Hope he shows up in Batman Part II. I still need to rewatch before I dive into Penguin.
