I finally watched this, at first I thought you were talking about Jacques Tati who did all those Monsieur Hulot movies. I watched Playtime for the film club years and years ago and boy was that something I just did not connect with, it drove me nuts. I was blown away after watching it to learn how beloved it is. Anyways, I'd be interested to see Jacques Demy's films one day, they sound great. |
