I remember being unimpressed by Brothers Bloom. You know what I don't remember? Y'all talking this much about Bergman's Cinema. Except SnoBorderZero. You cool. And I guess Neverending, even if he was just fishing for the spank bank. Maybe if you did a Rian Johnson video essay

This was really good, makes you wish Kershner got more movies to take a crack at in his career. You weren’t satisfied with Never Say Never Again and Robocop 2? Both those movies suck. I watched Robocop 2 earlier this year and hated every second of it. What a nasty, low-grade, thoughtless movie that was. Not how I wanted Kershner to end his career.

I laugh every time at the malfunctioning Robo 2 prototypes.
Every.

Well...you've been taking up all the best talking points. You know what I don't remember? Y'all talking this much about Bergman's Cinema. Except SnoBorderZero. You cool. Very underrated Bergman. I myself often forget about this film but it's a solid entry in his canon.
It balances the comedy and reflections on mistakes surprisingly well and always has a nice charm to the proceedings.
Looking forward to season three!

When you tease with The Seventh Seal, I think you can make that claim.

So here's something interesting - my video on how Spielberg depicts Nazism in the Indiana Jones movies has more than quadrupled in views over the last week. It'll likely hit 10,000 views by the end of the day.
The downside is the comments section is a minefield I frequently have to moderate given the subject matter attracts Nazi trolls determined to tell me "Hitler did nothing wrong".

There's enough worthwhile comments that are either complimentary or add something to the discussion that I think is worthwhile to preserve. But we'll see. I will add I just delete (and sometimes block) anything that is remotely racist or resembles hate speech. Though I did take a minute to laugh at one comment that accused the Indiana Jones movies of "making events up".

Watched this on my Facebook wall today. Great picks and recommendations Coop! I'll try to knock down a couple this month. As I mentioned to you earlier, look into Stephen Chow!!!

I didn't know Police Story was on Criterion Channel. Thanks for the heads up! Police Story and Police Story 2 were added to the collection last year. In a dream world we'd have a four pack with Supercop and First Strike, but that was probably a long shot. But just having the first Police Story in the collection is fucking magic. That final fight is probably my favorite action scene ever.

What is with this trend of purposefully using incomplete sentence?

What is with this trend of purposefully using incomplete sentence? What you're trying to say is "Why is trend?"

Though I did take a minute to laugh at one comment that accused the Indiana Jones movies of "making events up". Changed settings so I have to approve any comments before they're published. Still not quite ready to nuke everything and I suspect the surge will eventually taper off (though we have climbed from 2000 views to about 28,000) so for now I'll keep moderating things. One weird subset of angry comments I've been getting is people pissed off I didn't mention George Lucas. Sorry George!
