Anakin is the worst character in this series. Worse than Jar Jar and Rose. Yeah. Jar Jar, was just sort of a dumb idea that was for better or worse brought to the screen as intended. The writing and performance of Anakin, by contrast, is simply incompetent. |

Attack of the Clones could have been better than Phantom Menace... and technically... it probably is. But Anakin is a godawful character and sucks any life out of this movie. Nonetheless, I still maintain it should have been the first movie. Clone Wars should have been Episode II instead of a fucking cartoon. Sorry, Nerds. And Episode III is fine, I guess.

It's pretty silly. It only features episodes 1-8. "The Skywalker Saga ... except for Episode 9". And then none of the promo art includes anything from the prequels. *For those that don't know, this is a retelling of the series via storybook format (pictures, rewording, fairytale-like). Not to mention, it could possibily further prove the Rey leaks: that she's a Skywalker. If the book is claiming to be a storybook-like retelling of the the Star Wars saga through the eyes of the Skyalker family, and then says thusly in the summary: "New York Times Best-Selling Author, Delilah Dawson, retells Episodes I-VIII through Anakin, Luke, Leia, and Rey's points of view."
Either that or I guess it could go down a more tedious routed plot line for Rey, ala "I'm going to adopt the Skywalker name now". |
