There are a lot of folks online going bananas about Pink Flamingos. I haven't seen it, I don't really care to, but man that movie can't be that good can it? If at all? This has to be just the cult getting hyped, right?

My dad owned the VHS and absolutely loved it. He would always say I had to wait until I was x years old to watch it. Even just the VHS box scared me off - that shit looks gross.

I'm guessing there's either some kind of rights issue they're negotiating down to the last minute or there's a cover artist who's missing their deadline. I do know they're probably going to be announcing Drive My Car this month.

Meh. I guess it's nice to have Raging Bull on 4K but it's not really a movie that needed Criterion's assistance.
Meanwhile it's strange to me that Drive My Car isn't going to be on 4K given that it's Janus film's baby and would probably benefit more from it than The Virgin Suicides.
Meanwhile Devil in a Blue Dress is meh and Okja sucks.

From the tech specs it says Drive My Car is sourced from a 2K master while all the 4K discs are being sourced from native 4K, which might be why Criterion is holding back. But 2K movies can benefit from 4K discs, so there can be an argument either way.
Either way, that one I'll definitely be picking up.
