Thank you. Once again you have given me a valuable heads up. Managed to pick up The Before Trilogy, His Girl Friday, and A Brighter Summer Day.

I'm gonna do the responsible thing and save my money (especially since living in Canada fucks up my saving potential). Plus, my girlfriend already ordered me The Before Trilogy for Valentine's Day so that should be coming soon.

As opposed to when you're NOT living in Canada? PG Cooper let it slip that he's not Canadian. Dracula is more Canadian than PG Cooper. This is sad.

Hah, I just got the Before Trilogy 15 minutes ago on Amazon for much more. Cancelling and getting from Criterion. Thank you.

Shit I didn't tag you, I wasn't sure if you were a Criterion fan. My bad.

At this point I don't really bother buying Criterion stuff at all except during the flash sales and the Barnes and Noble sales. It takes patience and the willingness to spend a lot at once but you save a lot in the long run.

Thanks for the heads up Doomsday. I snagged the Fanny and Alexander blu-ray box set, The Seventh Seal on blu-ray, Mulholland Drive on blu-ray, and Boyhood on blu-ray.

Mirror would be a nice addition too. I have a feeling that eventually all of Tarkovsky's work will make its way to a Criterion restoration. More of him and Welles would make me happy. I just watched The Trial for the first time the other day on a not so great transfer, and thought this already exquisite looking film would be so much better with a Criterion touch up.
