I'm gonna do the responsible thing and save my money (especially since living in Canada fucks up my saving potential). Plus, my girlfriend already ordered me The Before Trilogy for Valentine's Day so that should be coming soon.

At this point I don't really bother buying Criterion stuff at all except during the flash sales and the Barnes and Noble sales. It takes patience and the willingness to spend a lot at once but you save a lot in the long run.

Mirror would be a nice addition too. I have a feeling that eventually all of Tarkovsky's work will make its way to a Criterion restoration. More of him and Welles would make me happy. I just watched The Trial for the first time the other day on a not so great transfer, and thought this already exquisite looking film would be so much better with a Criterion touch up. |
