I don't know anything about Ant-Man but are his nemeses just characters named after everyday garden pests? The Scott Lang incarnation of Ant-Man doesn't really have any primary villains the way some heroes do. He's a member of The Avengers, and has fought various villains alongside them. Even the villain version of Yellowjacket from the comics wasn't the nemesis of Ant-Man, but was instead who Wasp usually fought against. |

They would have been far better off just showing the test footage than this teaser. At least that had some action.

I'm trying to keep in mind that this is just a teaser, and not a full trailer. I do appreciate that this is going to be such a departure from the previous superhero movies we've seen. Scott Lang isn't a genius inventor, a paragon of American virtue, a highly skilled covert operative or someone who dedicates his life and resources to fighting crime. He's just a guy who's made some bad decisions in his life, and is hoping to turn things around. Being Ant-Man looks to be something he just stumbles into due to the whims of fate.

A teaser is normally around 30secs and usually doesn't give away any plot points.
This was close to 2 mins so I'm calling Trailer #1.
