The Force Awakens made $3 billion from merchandising.

Eh, I won't buy any of these until they come packaged together in a trilogy set that we all know will come eventually.

Yeah, I understand that instinct but I do kind of want to watch the movie again sometime before the decade ends. Also, how would the spinoffs fit in future boxed sets?

how would the spinoffs fit in future boxed sets? They'll be in their own box set.

I'll likely get the Target edition. Primarily because...well, I work there, and I can easily pick it up on the way home from work. I'm lazy.

Box sets suck.
Okay, I'm torn. I have all 6 other films in steelbook, so should I get this steelbook? I would normally say yes but, the regular box cover just looks so pretty!
Help!

I'm in a dilemma as well. Target has the better offer, but Wal-Mart has the better cover.

Heh, they still release standalone DVDs. Wal-Mart is 75% DVD's. Target is 25% - although Frizzo the Clown may dispute those numbers. Best Buy, I think, is the only one that has completely abandoned DVD's. If you find a DVD at Best Buy, it's probably in a bin.

I think I'm going to grab the Target edition. I've spent $25 on less meaningful things just in the past week alone, and it looks like to have the best bang for the buck (for now). Should tide me over until the trilogy is complete and it's time to consider which set to purchase.

If the BB8 cover was steelbook, that would be awesome.

If the BB8 cover was steelbook, that would be awesome. The perfect steelbook would have been that photo of Daisy Ridley and BB-8 walking in the desert.

Close. It should be her standing next to a hut in the desert watching two suns in the sunset. Yeah.
