The wife and kids are going out of town on the 23rd for a week. I have 7 days all to myself. That's when I strike. That's when I finally see Top Gun: Maverick. Just hoping it's playing somewhere, anywhere within 30 miles of me. It ain’t going nowhere.

Yeah, the next two months are remarkably slim-looking. I can’t wait for 1godzillafan’s 10-paragraph essay on Mack & Rita starring 90-year-old Diane Keaton. RiffTrax Live: Return of Swamp Thing is on my menu.

PG Cooper and associates showed up for Dragonball Super: Super Hero, making it the #1 movie with $20M. Meanwhile, Top Gun: Maverick surpassed Avengers: Infinity War at the all time domestic box office. Opening next weekend is George Miller’s genie movie and horror flick the Invitation.

$3 Saturday gross 1. Top Gun: Maverick — $2.6M 2. DC League of Super Pets — $2.5M 3. Bullet Train — $2.3M 4. Spider-Man: No Way Home — $2.2M 5. The Invitation — $2M The 26 movies in released made a collective total of $22M. Not bad for a quiet weekend in which SnoBorderZero would have watched Gigi & Nate in an empty theater.

So the $3 worked I guess. It was the busiest I've seen the theater in a wile, that's for sure.

So the $3 worked I guess. It was the busiest I've seen the theater in a wile, that's for sure. Oh, certainly. Last Saturday, movies grossed $21.6M. $3 Saturday made $22M. There’s an argument to make that lowering ticket prices could entice customers without it affecting the bottom line. But… greed gonna always be a factor. The industry made $127.9M the Saturday in which Avengers: Endgame opened. That’s a lot of dough. The question, though, is if we’ll see those heights again. The Saturday of Spider-Man: No Way Home was $82.3M. There can be a happy middle ground in which tickets aren’t $15. Doomsday spends $60 to take his wife and two kids to watch Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul. That’s not even counting concession items. You know how much Baby Yoda merch gotta sell for Doomsday to afford that. He could’ve watched Gigi & Nate with SnoBorderZero on $3 Saturday for only $12. Fucking game changer.

Maybe they should have picked a better title than "Bros."

After 3 weeks in release, Black Adam has grossed $137.3M. It has 3 days left till Wakanda invades. George Clooney/Julia Roberts rom-com Ticket to Paradise has quietly made $46.7M in 3 weeks of release. It could still serve as counter programming for Wakanda. Smile has grossed $99.1M in 6 weeks of release. Not bad for the spooky season which just concluded. Halloween Ends made $63.4M in 4 weeks. Yeah, let’s put this franchise to rest till at least 2028 when SnoBorderZero does the direct sequel to Halloween 4 which ignores Halloween 5 and 6. Terrifier 2 stunned the nation and has made $9.8M on a budget of $250,000. Still waiting for SnoBorderZero to make a movie. Opening this weekend was One Piece Film: Red. If you’re like PG Cooper and has watched all 1,000 episodes of the series, you likely ran to the cinema to indulge before Wakanda Forever is released. The film grossed $9.4M. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever opens Thursday at 3pm. Dracula and Doomsday , you got 3 days left to watch Banshees of Inisherin, TÁR, Till and Armageddon Time. And if you haven’t already, don’t forget to watch Lyle Lyle Crocodile. It deserves to be watched on the big screen.

Twenty-Two million less than Black Panther. Seven million less than Multiverse of Madness. Not sure I saw that coming.
