Good to know my podcast with SnoBorderZero has zero competition.

I mean...we all know Neverending would get the most downloads, because we'd all look at that and go "This i gotta hear!" He really has the high ground here.

Two minutes of Frizzo's pleasure grunting then dead silence isn't the audience grabber you think it is.

Cool idea. Call me biased but this scene comes to mind, it might not be quite what you're going for as it's an entire scene rather than a short clip or quick action but hey I think it's awesome.





This scene has no bearing on the story or narrative.  This could have been cut out completely, in fact nowadays it probably would have beem, the movie could have jumped from Batman telling the Batmobile to 'stop!' then cut to the Batmobile pulling into the Batcave.  But no, there's a good 90 seconds of Danny Elfman's score following the Batmobile charging down a dark road.  It's there to create a mood and set a tone.  It's also one of the best scenes in the movie even with one sole line of dialogue.
