Fuck that, if we had to show up to school early as fuck in the morning these shitty Tik Tok loving kids are going to also.

Good for them.  I hope it catches on. 

I noticed, but it's hard to stay angry at someone who not only winds up marrying the boy, but stayed together until just last year.  She did her time and got on with her life.

My childhood town FB pages are all up in arms.

This will be how states approach COVID vaccine, in order to return to school.


Prepare yourselves to know that america is much dumber than you already think.

I just listened to a podcast the other day in which someone was lamenting the fact that laser effects are no longer an option available for school pictures.  Clearly, they were still an option a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.

While she's not wrong, it still bugs the hell out of me.  All sorts of options to get student loans forgiven began popping up as soon as I finally managed to pay mine off.  Twenty years of harassing phone calls, nastygrams and confiscated tax refunds.  Nobody should have to live that way, but since I did, how about a little something for my troubles if you're handing out money?

We should be investing in trade schools. Pointless to waste 4 years of college and then there’s no jobs waiting for you. You work at WB/Disney. Whatever happened to “starting at the mail room” and working your way up? There needs to be more incentive for on the job training and trade schools affiliated with certain industries.

The Brothers Warner has spent the last month hosting word-of-mouth screenings for In the Heights. They target the drama/music/dance departments of high schools and colleges. You don’t need a 4-year marketing degree to rent out a movie theatre auditorium, put together a screening and create “social media buzz.” And on the flip side, you don’t need a 4-year business degree to be an exhibitor/booker/programmer and create a relationship with the studios that would make your location(s) a desirable place to host special event screenings. These are all skills you can learn through on the job training. So instead of forcing college on people, the government can create incentives for businesses to have career development programs for young people.
