These motherfuckers are going to live through at least two recessions, probably a civil war, probably a war for water, likely several natural disasters, and the beginnings of climate change sparked apocalypse... they should just get used to shit like this now.

I'm not too worried about a war for water in the US. We've got enough infrastructure capacity to build desalinization plants all along the coastline to handle the water needs of farms. Dehumidifiers could pull enough water out of the air for the general population to drink. It's cheaper to build desalinization plants than to fight a war. They do also have the robot apocalypse to deal with as well, though. The Cylons are coming, and they'll have a plan.

Giant political ad, but it’s nice to see Obama in these dark times. And LeBron. And... the Jonas Bros.

With the Corona, the courts said, “fuck it” and gave them plea deals. Two months for her. Five months for him. They’ll do a day in jail and then get released due to overcrowding. Everyone can put this behind them and focus on more important things.

Doomsday SnoBorderZero thebtskink frankytHas your state begun the process of re-opening schools? One of the solutions they’re considering is a college-style schedule in which students take classes at different times as opposed to having everyone in the building at the same time. I’m super curious how this is gonna affect traffic. Are there gonna be those 15-mph school zones all day long? How annoying. That said, I remember in high school a similar option was considered. They realized most teenagers hated being in school at 7 in the morning. Either pushing back the schedule or having a sort-of split schedule was considered, but it never happened for whatever reason. So congrats to these kids. Sleep deprivation is gonna take a nose dive.

School year ends within 2 weeks if not already ended in most districts. Massachusetts isn't going to consider reopening until next school year.

Anything else seems foolhardy given we could likely move backwards
