I'm a big fan of Vin. He's got nearly 90 million likes on Facebook, 90 MILLION. And every update he makes is a joy to read.
More likes than Bieber. Way more than Gaga. 3 X more than One Direction.
No other actors come close.
Even someone like RDJ, who uses social media brilliantly, has one quarter of the likes.
How do you explain it? I don't know, but it restores a little faith in humanity than so many people are a fan of this guy who is really humble and has no interest in celebrity or whoring his status.

I guess his appeal is intertwined with F&Fs.

I guess his appeal is intertwined with F&Fs. The only thing bigger than F&F is Riddick.

He wishes.
I'm glad he's finally getting his Alexander project off the ground, though. His passion for it is admirable.
I think I first appreciated him as an actor when he was on some talk show and revealed his Tolkien fanaticism. He said himself that the Chronicles of Riddick was his attempt to create a Tolkien-esque world around his character. Obviously doomed to fail.
I mean...Necromongers? Come on. They weren't even trying.

The part about the actor of Donatello trying to talk to Feldman is hilarious. What a comical sight indeed; Feldman yelling at reporters he doesn't do cocaine as children are huddled around for the premiere. I'm just glad it didn't affect his career, oh wait...

I watched it at the theaters too and I'll never forget it because it changed my movie-watching habit. Let me explain. Before 1995, I always drank WAY too much while watching a movie and I always had to go take a piss in the middle of the movie. Normally, it was fine because I didn't miss anything important. But here, I had to take a piss right before Goofy and his son got into their big fight, and I missed the whole thing. When I got back from the restroom, the son was off to the concert and Goofy was alone or whatever and I'm like, "damn! I missed the whole thing." So since then, I always drink as little as possible. In fact, I don't even buy a soda for myself anymore. I always share it with someone. So thank you, Goofy Movie. I haven't taken a piss in the middle of a movie for 20 years. Except for Lord of the Rings. That was... something else.

I remember seeing the end of that after my aunt took me to Casper the movie while my uncle and mother went to see Braveheart... they didn't realize that Braveheart was three hours long so we had to go to another movie while we waited for them to get out.

Sounds like you had a wild day. I had a similar experience with Dennis the Menace. Jurassic Park was sold out, so we bought tickets to Dennis the Menace and there was a screw-up because the ending of the movie was playing when we walked in. We had to wait for the movie to end and for the projectionist to immediately start the movie afterwards. There was only a handful of people in the theater and I think they were all there because Jurassic Park was sold out. lol. In retrospect, I probably should have watched Last Action Hero instead... but oh well.
