It's Five Guys' turn to be raked over the coals for their supposedly inflated prices.
People acting like it's some scandal but I remember when Five Guys started to really spring up in southern California around 2009 or so, at least from my recollection. I went a couple times and even back then it was about $15 for a burger, fries and drink. To compare, a #1 combo at In-N-Out at the time was 6 or 7 bucks. I haven't been to Five Guys in well over a decade but I thought it was common knowledge that it was wildly overpriced for pretty average food. I'm still not quite sure how they're in business in SoCal, there are a ton of better and cheaper options.
