My prediction Wally is in the mask, because they mentioned him wondering about him on Earth2. plus Wally West is another Flash in the comics

Other than Jason Mewes, what was the point of Kevin Smith directing this episode?

Other than Jason Mewes, what was the point of Kevin Smith directing this episode? Kevin loves the show, and wanted to direct an episode. He had no interest in having the characters suddenly telling filthy jokes and making pop culture references. Even the inclusion of Jason Mewes wasn't his idea. Jason came along as Kevin's assistant, and the casting person told him that if Jason wanted, they had a part he would fit in. Mewes is actually in two scenes. His character's doppleganger is a villain in the final scene.

Wyldstaar PhantomKnightMy two thoughts: "Everyone is Jay Garrick." "The Flash needs to stop fucking up the Space-Time Continuum."

It means that season 3 will be based on Flashpoint, the series that led to the new 52. Some people are excited, but others think that without Batman & Superman, it won't be the same. They have Arrow & Supergirl, but I'm not sure how much the writers of those shows are willing to bend over for The Flash. Supergirl, for the sake of the CW audience, might do it. But Arrow is a giant mess right now.

I finally got around to watching the season finale tonight. I suppose this is going to be used to explain why Supergirl is now in the same universe as Flash and Arrow, as well as any casting changes that may result from the move to CW (Calista Flockhart may walk). I still have to get caught up with Arrow. I haven't watched it in months.
If next season is Flashpoint, I hope they can convince the powers that be at WB to allow the use of Thomas and Martha Wayne. Gotham isn't using them, after all. Flashpoint without Thomas Wayne's Batman would be wrong, and I'd love to see the Martha version of Joker. Unfortunately, I suspect that Robert Queen will be filling that role instead.

I doubt we'll see Flashpoint affect Arrow/Legends/Supergirl till the December crossover cause these shows are not on the same schedule. That was one of the big criticisms this year. People were confused about the timelines. Was Barry powerless when Laurel was killed? Why did Barry appear on Supergirl before it was referenced on Flash? Why did Barry save his mom before the Arrow finale aired? At this point, people have no idea when things are taking place. It's possible that on Arrow, The Flash hasn't even defeated Zoom yet.

Draco Malfoy himself -- Tom Felton -- has just been cast in a series regular role for Season 3.

Whoaaaaaaaaaaa....................!
So, is this going to just be a season-long arc or is this the new norm for the show now?

If that's the case, then that's even shorter than I expected. Then again, I can see Barry realizing his mistake not long into the season and wanting to rectify it.

Might seem like a cop out...but they HAVE teased changes to Arrow as well, as a result. And Katie Cassidy now has a deal to appear as a regular across ALL DC shows on The CW.

Absolutely loving this season so far. The overall tone feels like it's back to the Season 1 tone, which I appreciate more. Season 2 was great too, don't get me wrong, but it also had that slightly darker undercurrent running throughout because of Zoom, but Season 3 feels like it's back to the balance of dramatic elements with the lightheartedness.

Supergirl is now my favorite of the Greg Berlanti shows. Season 2 has been on a row so far. The Flash has gotten a little too silly with the time travel and alternate universe stuff. Flashpoint doesn't make sense. Barry Allen as The Flash existed before the Reverse Flash killed his mother. I don't see how The Flash stopping creates a new universe. It should restore the old universe or at least a version of it. It would have been more fun to see the original universe as opposed to another Reverse Flash & Zoom type arc. These villains and these dilemmas are just getting boring now.
