Yeah...they really should get back to Season 1 Barry, but at this point with everything he's into, doesn't seem likely. Still my favorite superhero show, though.

Still my favorite superhero show, though. I really hope they explore the multi-verse in season 3. I wanna see Barry traveling to a bunch of universes. They have so many options to explore. They're already doing Supergirl. The 1990 Flash series has already been established to be a multi-verse. They can also do Smallville since that series had a version of The Flash, named Impulse, and Supergirl and the Green Arrow and a bunch of others. It would also be awesome if Warner Bros allowed them to jump into the movie verse. Movie Flash and TV Flash joining forces would certainly get a lot of press.

It would definitely be a shame if they used the multi-verse for just Season 2, but it has me suspicious because when the Supergirl crossover was discussed, the producers said if it were to happen, it'd need to be this season. Meaning...no more multi-verse next season?

when the Supergirl crossover was discussed, the producers said if it were to happen, it'd need to be this season. Supergirl is on CBS, meaning, the ratings need to be VERY good in order to stay on the air. Last year, they cancelled Stalker even though it was averaging 7 to 8 million viewers. Maggie Q's previous show, Nikita, lasted 4 seasons on The CW with only a million viewers throughout most of its run. So there IS concern that Supergirl won't make it beyond it's first season. That's probably why the producers said. If you wanna see The Flash on Supergirl, and not the other way around, it would need to happen now.

Supergirl is only doing slightly better than Stalker and is a much more expensive show to produce. The likelihood of it getting a second season is slim. They might use the crossover to set-up a future where Supergirl is a regular on The Flash. I can imagine the DEO chasing some alien that can travel through dimensions and needing Team Flash to help. That COULD be the big storyline for season 3 of Flash.

Any chance The CW would pick it up?

Any chance The CW would pick it up? Ordinarily, I'd say no. CW has already stated that they have no plans to expand their DC line-up. They feel that three shows is already pushing it. Nevertheless, I think that if Supergirl does get cancelled, CW would give the notion of picking it up some serious consideration. It's an already established property with a producer they work with successfully. Picking up an already established program is cheaper than building one from scratch, too. All the expense of casting, costuming, building permanent sets, building a CGI library of models to use, etc. has already been paid for by CBS. If a time slot on CW is open on Monday or Friday next season, and Supergirl is up for grabs, it makes sense for them to give them a shot.

If a time slot on CW is open on Monday or Friday next season, and Supergirl is up for grabs, it makes sense for them to give them a shot. Option 1: Cancel Arrow, which has ran its course, and replace it with Supergirl. Option 2: Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow can share Thursday nights. Supergirl can air from October to December and Legends can air from January to May. Option 3: Arrow and Supergirl can share Wednesday night. Arrow, which is losing steam, can air from October to December. Supergirl can air from January to May. Although, postponing Supergirl to January would kill all the momentum it built on CBS. Supergirl does average 8 million viewers, which is more than all three CW shows combined. It should be the priority, so... Option 4: Give Supergirl a full season order and air it on Wednesday nights. Have Arrow and Legends share Thursday.

The producers of Arrow won't feel that the series has run it's course until the entire five year stretch of Ollie's time away from home has been completed. The show's ratings last season were it's highest ever. I don't know what this season's numbers look like, but I've not read anything indicating there's been a drop.

The Flash is the bigger hit at the moment. It averages 3 million viewers. Arrow and Legends are at 2 million. The three shows combined average about a million less than Supergirl. That's the irony, I guess. Supergirl is a WAY bigger hit, but since it's on CBS, the standards are different.

If Supergirl moves to CW and, say, gets the Wednesday at 9 slot, that means another move for Supernatural -- where would that go? From what I hear, the future of iZombie is kind of uncertain, so if that gets the axe, Supergirl could move into its slot and be paired up with The Flash.

They were paired with Smallville for like 5 years.

Misread Option 3. Sorry. But still, would The CW want two DC shows in one night, or would they want to keep spreading them over the week?

Something else I heard ... Legends of Tomorrow is turning out to be a much more expensive show to make than initially planned, which could be a factor against its renewal chances. So, if Legends doesn't get renewed and The CW picks up Supergirl, I could see Supergirl taking over the LoT timeslot.

Yeah, me too. I'm honestly turning out to enjoy Supergirl more than Legends.

Yeah, me too. I'm honestly turning out to enjoy Supergirl more than Legends. The Flash and Supergirl benefit from being light-hearted and fun. Arrow and Legends suffer from being overly serious and convoluted. It has become obvious that Andrew Kreisberg is better than Marc Guggenheim.

I think it's the real Jay Garrick from some other Earth. I think most people expect that, but Zoom threw a curveball by saying that Barry wouldn't believe who's under there. So, if it isn't the real Jay Garrick, it's probably Wally West or something so crazy that fans wouldn't see it coming.

Why would you think that? I thought Znyder said he doesn't want DC TV and DC cinematic universe connected in any sort of way...
