Yeah, those final ten minutes...wow. But, I'm a little confused: Since he time-traveled back at the very end, are things gonna pick up next week from that point as if those last ten minutes never happened? Most likely, it will, but I just want to be sure. |

It was great seeing Mark as The Trickster again. One of these days, I need to try and watch my 1990 Flash box set. I tried watching it right after I bought it and stopped after the pilot, which was waaay too dark for the character. The producers were trying to turn Flash into Batman. If memory serves though, the show lightened up in later episodes, especially those with The Trickster.

I'm inclined to agree that season three is the weakest one. The biggest problem being that there's just too much going on, and too many characters involved. Season four needs to drop a lot of this dead weight. Thea and Roy need to leave town after she busts him out of jail. Laurel and Nyssa also need to leave so that Laurel can return later, preferably with a true Canary Cry. Ray at least is certainly leaving, since he's going to be having a series of his own. Finally, this awful Hong Kong flashback storyline needs to be put to rest, although I'm not all that confident that the next flashback setting (likely Russia) will be any better. The flashbacks used to be what I liked best about the show, but not anymore.

Brandon Routh was a lot better in The Flash than Arrow.
