I have a feeling Mr. Wheelchair will be the Lionel Luthor of the series. He'll blur the line between good and evil and eventually become a twisted "3rd father" to Barry. But with hair and glasses.  |

Really great 2nd episode. I agree with you guys, but my only concern is the side characters here are pointless.
The way "Arrow" did the team stuff was phenomenal, I think these guys are just there... without anything really concrete to offer flash.

I forget the female scientists name but I have absolutely no doubt that there will be some romantic intrigue between her and Barry and her "lost" boyfriend who passed away in the energy explosion. I don't want to ruin any potential storylines but if you are interested in what Cisco and the female scientist might be. check out the Flash comics history. |

Nice episode last night, great seeing them focus a bit on Cisco and the chic. I'm not saying I like them now. But I'm glad were getting backstories on them.
Also the scene with his dad and his dad see's flash... Whoa!

By the way, does anyone have any theories on Mr. Wheelchair? I've noticed that Tom Cavanagh has a slight resemblance to Grant Gustin. They both have that long face and slender body. Wouldn't it be funny if he turned out to be Bart Allen? Also, that cop and his daughter have the last name, West. Wally West? You think that's possible down the line?

Flash vs. Arrow.
Barry is thrilled when Oliver, Felicity and Diggle come to Central City to investigate a case involving a deadly boomerang. Excited about teaming up with his friend, Barry asks Oliver if he’d like to help him stop Ray Bivolo (guest star Patrick Sabongui), the meta-human Barry is currently tracking. Bivolo causes people to lose control of their emotions and has been using that skill to rob banks. Unfortunately, the superhero partnership doesn’t go as smoothly as Barry expected. When Oliver tells Barry he still has a lot to learn, Barry sets out to prove him wrong by attempting to stop Bivolo alone. However, when Bivolo infects Barry and sets him on a rage rampage, everyone is in danger, and the only one who can stop him is the Arrow. Meanwhile, Iris is furious when Eddie tries to get a task force to stop The Flash, Joe and Dr. Wells agree the Arrow is a bad influence on Barry, and Caitlin and Cisco deal with a new team in S.T.A.R. Labs.

Anyone who hasn't seen tonights episode... Ignore this, also watch it ASAP! Now to discuss That would have been more exciting if I didnt see the wheelchair guy coming out as Reverse Flash. What is his end-game. Why was he watching Barry the night he got transformed? Anyways great midseason-finale! Can't wait to see where this goes. |

When they show her file on the monitor with her current picture, there's a smaller pic which is a promo pic from the old series. As fun as it was to see her show up, I'm far more interested in Firestorm. So far we've only seen Ronnie's half of Firestorm, with no sign of Dr. Stein. |

Holy Spin-off There are closed door talks about developing a few Arrow/Flash spin-off series (as long as people don't get bored with them) The one they mentioned in the article I read was The Atom. I read this comic over and over again when I was a kid (and I was also a Blue Beetle fan as well)  I don't quite recall where it went - if it isn't still in my collection I probably traded it by mistake to a friend who wouldn't trade back for it.  |
