Thoughts/Comments on the Christmas special? JibbsDeexanJustinI thought it was okay. The premise of "blocking people" was interesting though.

You're missing out on the best sci-fi on television. You don't need to watch in order. It's an anthology series. The episode with the eye recorder is your cup-of-tea. Watch it. Now. It's on Netflix,

I only watched the first one too, funnily enough. It didn't impress me enough to warrant continuing but I've heard a lot of good things so I will get around to watching the rest eventually.

What's that episode called? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Entire_History_of_YouThe Entire History of You is the third episode of the first series of Black Mirror. It starred Toby Kebbell (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) and Jodie Whittaker (Attack the Block), and was first shown on Channel 4 on December 18, 2011. The episode was written by creator of Peep Show and Fresh Meat, Jesse Armstrong. Robert Downey, Jr. has optioned the episode to potentially be made into a film by Warner Bros. and his own production company, Team Downey.Set in an alternative reality where most people have a 'grain' implanted behind their ear which records everything they do, see or hear. This allows memories to be played back either in front of the person's eyes or on a screen, a process known as a 're-do'. If you're mocking my bear phobia I'd suggest you refrain. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Waldo_MomentThe Waldo Moment is the third episode of the second series of Black Mirror. It starred Daniel Rigby (Eric and Ernie), Jason Flemyng and Tobias Menzies, and was first shown on Channel 4 on February 25, 2013. The episode was written by series creator Charlie Brooker. Jamie Salter (Daniel Rigby) is a failed comedian who performs the voice and movements (via performance capture) of a blue cartoon bear named Waldo, who interviews politicians and other authority figures. The interviewees are fooled into thinking the Waldo interviews are for a children's TV programme, when they're actually for a late-night, topical comedy show. Waldo the bear is extremely popular with the British public, and a pilot for his own series is commissioned, but despite the character's success, Jamie is depressed and unsatisfied with his life.

I'll continue watching since I really enjoyed the first episode. Engaging, yet disturbing material.

I have the christmas special recorded. I'm just waiting for my SO to be home so we can watch it together. I finally started to watch this show a couple weeks ago and I binge watched the whole series on Netflix.

We got around to watching the Christmas episode last night. Wow. I got so wrapped up in the episode that I sort of abandoned my dinner halfway through to watch. I liked the first part of the episode much more than the second part. It's probably more of a personal thing, but I felt like the Joe Potter character was annoying and unrelateable. Seriously, dude, your preggers girlfriend runs off claiming she's not going to have the kid. THAT'S A CRISIS AVERTED!
Anyway, I really liked the references to previous episodes. I was easily able to spot the use of the song from 15 Million Merits, and I guess there were a couple call backs to other episodes too as well.

Need to catch up. I thought the first season was stronger than the second, but I have heard good thing about the latest new episode.

I watched The Entire History of You. Certainly better than the pilot, but I'm not sure I would call it "great." I enjoyed it. This show seems to have fun with realism following simple premises.

How does everyone rate the episodes they've seen? I'd say from best to worst:
White Bear 15 Million Merits White Christmas The National Anthem The Entire History of You Be Right Back The Waldo Moment

I watched Be Right Back. I loved it. The subject matter wasn't exactly new, but they played it perfectly and the emotions felt by Haley Atwell (who was great) were palpable.
Best to worst, so far:
Be Right Back The Entire History of You The National Anthem

Fifteen Million Merits was pretty great. But I thought he was saving up the second time to try and save her. Silly me, I forgot these are all dark. Best to worst, so far: Be Right Back - **** Fifteen Million Merits - ***.5 The Entire History of You - *** The National Anthem - **.5
