Sony wants to exit the Spider-Man franchise after homecoming and infinity war from the MCU.
Morons, the reason so many people are interested in the Spider-Man franchise again is because it's in the MCU Cinematic universe, taking that out will hurt Sony, no question.

Sony Made 4 watchable attempts at Spiderman only Amazing Spiderman 2 was really horrible. I am not sure what it is but There something seems wrong with this movie for me. I kinda was ok with Garfield as Spiderman. I know everyone loves Marvel and the MCU and this Holland kid but what did Garfield do too loose his job is all im asking.

Spider-man 2 is Marvel's best film. No. Viewed in a vacuum, Spider-Man 2 is a very good movie. I'll grant you that much. That said however, when you look at the film as the sequel to the original Spider-Man, it has some major problems. They're essentially the same movie. All of the major plot points are exactly the same. It gets even worse when viewed in context with Spider-Man 3, which also has identical plot points to the first two, with the bonus of several excruciatingly bad musical numbers shoehorned into the movie. |

But that's the trap you all fall into. You think that somehow Spider-Man 3 is this bad film by comparison, as if Spider-Man 1 and 2 aren't chock full of corny, hoakey scenes and cringe-worthy dialogue. Aunt May was hanging on her damn umbrella, good Christ.

All that shit makes it feel like, you know, a comic book.
We're talking about a movie that's 93% critics and 81% audience on RT.
I can accept not taking it as the best comicbook movie, but it's in the top tier, and it certainly isn't a bad movie.
