Off the top of my head, there was the peeing gag when Austin was reawakened from cryo sleep, and then a number of sex-related imagery and whatnot that was definitely a primer for what was to come in the sequels.

Something minor about International Man of Mystery that struck me as interesting: with the inclusion of Robert Wagner, Larry Thomas (Soup Nazi) and Brian George (Babu), three actors are in it who at one point or another appeared in episodes of Seinfeld.

I just found it when going through a couple Austin Powers clips on youtube, I just assumed it was in there and not a deleted scene. I legit haven't seen Goldmember since high school so coming up on 17 years, some things may have slipped my mind. |
