It's definitely the lone stinker of his movies, which I think also gets it picked on a bit more than it should. Then again I really did not like it at all when I saw it and haven't watched it since, it's just not as bad as the others Doomsday listed which are all at the very bottom for me.

Yeah, out of all the Bond films I've seen thus far, I'd list Diamonds Are Forever as the worst. Die Another Day is right down there with it, but at least that movie's awful-ness isn't as BORING as Diamonds Are Forever's is.

Yeah I'd say "Die Another Day" is the worst, but I agree that it's absurdity at least makes it fun to laugh at. "Diamonds are Forever" is just a slog to get through, Connery seems really bored throughout it.

You guys are dumb. Diamonds Are Forever is hilarious. Die Another Day is a mess. Moonraker is the boring one.

Man, Sean Connery looks old in Diamonds are Forever. He was only 41 when it came out.

It's still amazing that Roger Moore is 59 in "A View to a Kill", that's pretty ridiculous.

Nothing's funnier than Die Another Day. Bond gave himself a heart attack in that movie and then revived himself to escape. Using his mind.

I have never seen a single Bond film. I tell myself that as a movie fan I should give them a shot but I just can't make myself do it. Even the Pierce Brosnan ones and I really like Pierce Brosnan.

HERCULES (1983)What happens when you combine Richard Donner's Superman with Ray Harryhausen's Greek mythology movies and remove the big budget and artistic integrity? You end up with Lou Ferrigno's Hercules. This Italian made schlockfest might be worse than Arnold Schwarzenegger's Hercules in New York - and that's saying a lot. There's almost nothing positive that can be said about this version of Hercules. Pino Donaggio's music and the fact that a Hercules movie was completed with a shoestring budget are the only admirable things. D says DoomsdayTHE ADVENTURES OF HERCULES (1985)I don't know how or why, but there's a sequel to Lou Ferrigno's Italian-made Hercules. This time they cut back on the Superman and Harryhausen inspired stuff and focus on a straight-forward Hercules adventure about having to recover Zeus' seven thunderbolts from the God's who stole them. The movie is cheesy and produced on a shoestring budget and has a very comical ending, but it's also a lot of fun. They failed the first time but succeeded the second time. It's weird there wasn't a third installment. The Ferrigno Hercules Trilogy is a missed opportunity. C+

If you ever do decide to watch a 007 movie, don't let the first one be a Brosnan film. He's a good actor, but the direction of his films went from light camp in Goldeneye to absurdly camp with extra cheese by the time he was one his last film Die Another Day. I'd recommend either From Russia With Love starring Sean Connery or Casino Royale with Daniel Craig as a starting point.

I'm as big of a Bond fan as they come and I'll say this. If I remember correctly you're in your thirties, right? Stick to the Craig ones. Watch those three before Spectre comes out just for the sake of continuity. No need to watch any others because you probably won't like them. Now if you want to be a film completist then go right ahead but if you're thinking that you're suddenly going to become a Bond fan don't count on it. I don't think there are a lot of people who will be first exposed to Bond when they're adults who will be turned on by it. Nowadays you need to be hooked as a kid, otherwise you'll watch a good number of them and say 'what the hell am I watching?' That said if you're going to watch any of them watch From Russia, With Love. I'm in the small minority of Bond fans who doesn't think Goldfinger is the best and the last thirty minutes or so of From Russia, With Love is pretty sweet.

If you want "serious" Bond movies, watch: - From Russia with Love (1963) - On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) - For Your Eyes Only (1981) - Licence to Kill (1989) - GoldenEye (1995) - Don't listen to wyldstaar - The Daniel Craig ones.

I.....don't disagree with any of those. Pretty dead on. Based on Duke Leto / Brother Justin's age, either Licence to Kill or GoldenEye or Casino Royale are the ideal movies to start with. Licence to Kill is basically a Lethal Weapon and Die Hard style movie. They even got Michael Kamen to do the score. If he enjoys 80's action movies, he'll like that one. GoldenEye is arguably the #1 choice for him. It's a classic style Bond movie, but it's modernized for the post Cold War audience. If he likes GoldenEye, he should definitely watch ALL the Bond movies. And Casino Royale is tailored made for 21st century taste. He'll like that one for sure, but it won't prepare him for the pre Daniel Craig movies.

Nothing will prepare him for Moonraker. Moonraker is #11. If he watches all the movies in order, Moonraker won't be as shocking. The general crapiness of the Roger Moore era eases you into Moonraker.
