Haven't been able to listen to Sports Radio today. Not knowledgeable enough to assess the multiple rumors- is Myles Turner/Jrue Holiday is better than Hayward/Kemba? What about not having Kemba involved? There's some talk about not wanting to trade both recent FA acquisitions away -- worry is about how that appears across the league if they can't retain FA.

Tampa might host the Raptors if they can’t play at home. Talk about the polar opposite of Canada. Blue Jays had to do the same, but they played in Buffalo which is basically Canada.

The chatter is they want Raptors to play southeast division, which means they would annihilate everyone except the Heat. Cakewalk to the playoffs.

Kemba hasn't been the same since injury it's similar to hayward. Not sure jrue is the answer and I feel bad for kemba to get smushed back into the nothing teams of the west after his first real taste of the playoffs.
Boston doesn't have to worry about free agents seeing trades, boston is a destination with both the history/legacy and their coach and front office, they will get free agents no matter what the league thinks of them.

SnoBorderZeroThe NBA wants Lakers-Warriors as the Christmas Day game. If Russell Westbrook goes to the Knicks, it needs to be Knicks-Net. Westbrook vs Durant in New York City will be epic. Damn the fucking pandemic. A sold out Madison Square Garden for that game would have been awesome.

Lakers-Warriors would be great, they should absolutely make that happen.
Knicks-Nets would be entertaining with Westbrook, but not a competition. Brooklyn was disappointing last year, but I expect them to bounce back with Durant playing and they'll steamroll the Knicks. Even if the Knicks have Westbrook they're still the worst team in the league. They have nothing.

Westbrook could win that first game — and the memes will be great.

Lol, that team is horrendous I don't care what kind of triple double stats Westbrook puts up.

Rondo back to obscurity.
Harden forcing his way out is insane, and nets have dick all to give to the rockets. Many other teams could offer more, hearing celtics might pony up a package with jaylen as the lynchpin.

Good move for them. Presti just keeps acquiring those draft assets.
I think Rockets will hold off until they get can get something better than whatever crap the Nets throw out.

I don't see him going to the Nets. They have some interesting players to offer, like Dinwiddie and LaVert, but that's not what the Rockets are really after right now. If Harden goes, it's a full rebuild and they need to replenish all those draft picks they traded away in recent years. It's going to be on whoever can supply the Rockets with as many quality draft picks as possible, they could care less what players they get in return. Dinwiddie and LaVert are not going to get Houston into the playoffs so unless there's a treasure trove of picks coming with them why would Houston even bother?

Bucks got fleeced in that Jrue deal. Now it would be hilarious if Giannis leaves anyway.

Yea that's an insane amount of firsts for jrue holiday. But if the freak stays those picks remain bottom 5 picks.

3 picks and rights to 2 pick swaps is a lot for Jrue. Not sure if that'll be enough for Giannis to sign, but we'll see. They also picked up Bogdan though, which is a nice pickup. Didn't give up much.
Blazers also forked over 2 firsts for Covington.
Trading for Harden just got more expensive.

So pissed that the Kings traded away Bogdanovic. What a horrible move, all done because they overpaid the overrated albatross Buddy Hield and the equally overpaid Harrison Barnes. This franchise is such a disaster that I shouldn't even be surprised anymore at their ineptitude.
