I bet he's kicking himself for not waiting another couple months with the Lakers when they would land AD and win a title. Whoops.

I bet he's kicking himself for not waiting another couple months with the Lakers when they would land AD and win a title. Whoops. Rob Pelinka and him had a rocky relationship. They might have self sabotaged. Magic leaving might have been the best thing to happen to this Lakers team. Don’t forget he also coached the Lakers in 1994. Dude was great for the Lakers as a player but has failed in his other roles for the organization.

Davis was coming to the Lakers inevitably. Could've easily let Pelinka do his thing and nabbed another ring. But you're right. He's good at being a business man in terms of investing his money in the right places. As a coach or GM or decision maker? Not so much.

Iverson and Shaq should be swapped out for Magic and Hakeem but sure.

Well yeah, their team is constructed around Morey's overly analytical nonsense of chucking as many 3's as possible and now he and D'Antoni are gone. The team has mortgaged its future on acquiring Chris Paul and Westbrook and has no draft picks. They're not better than the Lakers, Clippers, Warriors, Nuggets and probably not better than the Jazz or Mavericks either. They probably do need to start the whole thing over.
I'm sure the Knicks would love to take them both off Houston's hands. Ring up Dolan and hold a king's ransom of their draft picks and some young players and make the move.

Lamelo going number one. Hearing this draft is kinda terrible. Everyone holding out for next year, warriors gonna be shopping that pick next week for a star to help em back to the promised land.
Rockets so fucked tho. But I still got the faith, teams still better than kevin martin years.

Warriors don't need a starter, they just need to restock their bench. Trade that pick down for a first rounder and a couple high seconds and they're back in business.

Lol Russ wants out.
For everything they gave up this is absurd. Tillman must be the worst fucking guy to work for.

He makes a mountain of money and doesn't have a great reputation for being a team player. I like Westbrook, but there's no contenders that will take him. He can put up all the triple doubles he wants at Madison Square Garden though, granted the Knicks give the Rockets draft picks and eat up most of that money. They should've never traded Capela away. I hated that trade.

Agreed the answer shoulda been to trade Russ from the start but morey needed a new story outside the China comments.
Gonna be a brutal off-season. But I'd love to get out from under that contract. Even without draft picks it's a good move to dump that dead weight.

Tampa might host the Raptors if they can’t play at home. Talk about the polar opposite of Canada.
