Is there a thread on this already? I don’t think so.
Basically someone names a band and everyone else posts their favorite song by that band. Once enough people chime in someone else can throw a band out. I’ll start with something nice and easy.
Queen

Not my favorite song but certainly my favorite video. It’s gayer than their drag video and Brian May is killin’ it with those shades.

Ummm... not to be a basic bitch but I think the obvious answer is a little song called Bohemian Rhapsody
And my equally uninspired second choice is probably Under Pressure
My favorite deep cut used to be Don't Stop Me Now, but then that showed up in a million movies and commercials and stopped being a (relative) deep cut.

My favorite deep cut used to be Don't Stop Me Now That was a European hit single in 1979. It failed in the U.S. for... reasons... I guess. But I would have never called it a “deep cut.” It was featured on all their Greatest Hits albums. This would be a better example of a deep cut

Wasn't It's Late the final song in Observe and Report? Keep your ears out PhantomKnight . There's two Queen songs in Observe & Report and PG Cooper says the soundtrack didn't standout. Once enough people chime in someone else can throw a band out. New band: Wings Speaking of PG Cooper, I'm dedicating this song to him. He can tell his gf he was scorned by an ex-lover.

Now do your favorite Wings song. It's what you'd think it is. You and Dracula can't both pick Live and Let Die. I'm assigning you...

I don't know Wings that much. If it were just solo Paul McCartney I would say the obvious best was "Maybe I'm Amazed," but I don't think Wings was involved in that. If we're limiting it to Wings and not counting Live and Let Die... I don't know, "Jet" is catchy.

I don't know Wings that much. Fun FactWings had more #1 US Singles than Queen My Love (1973) Band on the Run (1974) Listen to What the Man Said (1975) Silly Love Songs (1976) With a Little Luck (1978) Coming Up (1980) Live and Let Die peaked at #2, just an FYI. Queen only had two: Crazy Little Thing Called Love (1979) and Another One Bites the Dust (1980) But...Queen had more #1 UK Singles than Wings Bohemian Rhapsody (1975); it peaked at #9 in the US Under Pressure (1981); it peaked at #29 in the US Innuendo (1991); it didn't chart in the US even though it was Freddie Mercury's last album The godawful Mull of Kintyre, which only Deexan will like, is the only Wings single to be crowned #1 in the UK. I don't know what this says about US vs UK musical tastes.

I don't know what this says about US vs UK musical tastes. Probably that it's an easier market to break into when you have built in name recognition from being a key member of the biggest rock band of all time.
