Story:  Harley Quinn copes with breaking up with the love of her life, the Joker.  As she learns to love her new independent lifestyle, she finds herself the target of Joker's enemies, who know they can't touch Mister J themselves but can punish her if she's no longer under his protection.  One such enemy is crime boss Roman Sionis, who issues a reward for her head when Harley meets up with a grifting child named Cassandra Cain who swallowed the priceless Bertinelli Diamond.  With hitmen on their tail, Harley makes a stand with ex-cop Renee Montoya, street tough singer Dinah Lance, and the deadly vigilante Huntress to protect both herself and Cassandra.

Pros:  Doc's amazing breakfast burrito.
Cons:  Not a real Birds of Prey movie.

Story:  13-year-old genius Hiro invents a swarm of microbots as part of his application process to the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology.  Immediately after his demonstration, the building explodes, killing his big brother Tadashi.  Hiro is sent into a depressive funk in the aftermath, but soon discovers that a mysterious man in a Kabuki mask has stolen his microbots and is using them with the intention to do harm.  With the intent of combating the man in the Kabuki mask, Hiro teams up with Tadashi's friends Wasabi, Honey Lemon, Go Go, Fred, and Tadashi's experimental robot Baymax to become a unit of tech powered vigilantes.

Pros:  Six intrepid friends, led by Fred, their leader, Freeeeed! Fred's Angels, mm-mm-mm! Fred's Angels, mm-mm-mm! Harnessing the power of the sun with the ancient amulet they found in the attic! Mmm-m-mm! The amulet is green! Mmm-m-mm! It's probably an emerald...
Cons:  Worst underwear advice ever.

Birds of Prey isn't the ideal Birds of Prey movie, but as a showcase of the zany Harley Quinn character, it's a wildly entertaining ride.  But it's going up against a HUGE charmer in Big Hero 6, which is problematic in how underdeveloped a good portion of its cast is, but is fun to watch, pretty to look at, and surprisingly touching.  Baymax and the gang are the easy winners here.

Story:  Still alive and well in 1984 and superheroing on the side, Diana Prince lives a life mostly in solitude.  While studying the Dreamstone, an acquired antiquity they are identifying for the FBI, with her colleague Barbara Minerva, they discover that it supposedly has the power to grant wishes.  Inadvertently Diana wishes for her lost love, Steve Trevor, to be returned to her, while Barbara wishes to be more like Diana.  Surprisingly, both wishes come true, as Steve's spirit inhabits a stranger's body and Barbara begins to develop Diana's Amazonian strength and agility.  Before they can understand what has happened, the Dreamstone is stolen by wannabe oil tycoon Maxwell Lord, who uses its power to grant any wish from those he comes in contact with, but to also take something in return, which creates chaos across the globe.  It becomes clear that in order to restore balance to the world that all wishes must be recanted, but neither Diana nor Barbara are able to let go of their deepest desires.

Pros:  Is a better period 80's superhero movie than X-Men:  Apocalypse.
Cons:  Wonder Woman is a rapist, just like Bryan Singer.

Story:  The Avengers successfully retrieve Loki's scepter from the Hydra agents who had claimed it, and Tony Stark and Bruce Banner use the knowledge gained from it to help enhance a prototype global security system they've dubbed "Ultron."  But with the power of the Infinity Stone at the scepter's core, Ultron gains sentience and breaks free from the Avengers' control.  Building a body made from Vibranium, Ultron teams up with superpowered siblings with a hatred for Stark, Wanda and Pietro Maximoff, to help Ultron destroy both him and the Avengers on a journey to realizing his "vision."

Pros:  Hot wood chopping on a farm action.
Cons:  Ray Fisher hates Joss Whedon.  But at least Whedon isn't a rapist like Bryan Singer or Wonder Woman...that we know of.

Both are fucking messes, but Ultron has some highlights that definitely put it above WW84.

They both have issues, but Ultron is a masterpiece compared to the train wreck of WW84.
