I'm torn on this one, but I think I have to give it to Aquaman. This movie had more than forty years of bad Aquaman outside of comics to overcome. Justice League: The Animated Series was a good start, but Aquaman was such a small part of that show that it had little effect on how the character was looked upon by most people. Most people just think of him as that guy in orange and green on a giant seahorse, and yet this movie managed to succeed. It wasn't fantastic, but it was a damn sight better than most DC movies.
