Eh. He makes some good points, but he doesn't get the movie, so... Nolan cuts too fast? Maybe he should look at the average cut rate in ALL films by decade. He also picked several scenes meant to be frantic, hence the staccato editing. So I really don't see his point. |

Stopped watching. Host was annoying. Basically, the Spielberg and Nolan version were the same until Matt Damon showed up. Instead of finding one dude who tries to ruin their mission, they find an actual inhabitable planet and begin to explore it. That's where the video ends. Part 2 is supposed to delve into the rest of the story, which as you can already tell, is the 180 of Nolan's version. |

No. Inception, Dark Knight, Prestige, and even Memento are tons better than Intersellar. As far as Avatar is concerned I would rather sit through that and All Star Wars movies prequels and all.. Then ever have to suffer through another viewing of "Dunkirk" |

That just pissed me off! Cameron made T2 and Titanic, Aliens, George Lucas literally created Star Wars out of nothing!

If he actually got around to explaining his reasoning of why He prefers Nolan, instead of acting all rude and demeaning towards my child hood directors it would have been fine. But honestly nothing Nolan has made (and it could change who knows) is even close to the lore of Star Wars and Terminator franchise. Plus taking a crap on Avatar is extremely played out, call it whatever you like. But no one can deny Avatar pushed boundaries in CGI characters. Some of favorite movies have some amazing realistic CGI characters like Thanos. And it was all because Cameron took that technology seriously. |
