This is how you represent a remake.

Some of the action looks a little overblown. One of the things I love about The Road Warrior is how it feels relatively grounded.
Still, this looks pretty f'n sweet.

International Trailer. It's mostly old footage, but some new footage is sneaked in. And there's a CGI scene that old-timers are gonna hate.

They should have waited for a real tornado to shoot that scene.

Every trailer makes it look better and better. Cool they got Toecutter to come back and play the villain in this one too. Nice touch if you ask me.

Very cool that they have Toecutter. It's also nice that this trailer gives us more than the same recycled footage from before. I can't wait. This movie is going to be so much fun.

Yeah, with each trailer this looks more and more fun. The visuals look great too, this could be some really solid summer escapism.

This will be the best movie of 2015. Possibly but my bet is on the new Avengers or the new Star wars this year.

You mean David Cronenberg's "Crash" from 1996?

Is the original mad max worth seeing? I have never seen it but i am defiantly interested in the new remake version.

Is the original mad max worth seeing? I have never seen it but i am defiantly interested in the new remake version. It's a decent effort. The first and last twenty minutes are very fun, but the middle drags and the post-apocalyptic future really doesn't come through. The sequel however, The Road Warrior, is fucking awesome and you should absolutely see it.

If there was an Oscar for trailers, Fury Road would win.

Yeah the trailers have been outstanding, I mean this is a movie that's just made for watching in 3D on a big screen, the visuals look great. There hasn't been much story shown, so hopefully there's a plot in the film somewhere, but damn I want this to be good, it looks too fun for them to not come through.
And yeah in terms of the original 3, it's been awhile since I've seen them but my impressions were:
Mad Max - Very low budget, I don't think people realize how bare bones the movie actually is until they watch it. It's decent fun and slightly impressive for the budget, plus Mel is in full Australian accent here, but after seeing it once I didn't feel the need to view it again.
Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior - The best, easily, and obviously the only real source material that this new one is drawing from.
Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome - A bit of a mess but not unwatchable. It starts out interesting but once Gibson teams up with the band of kids that fell right out of Neverland it really falls apart. It makes the ultimate sequel mistake: when the first two films are R, you don't top them with a PG-13 movie. Never works, ever.
