Anyone else reading/or has read the book?
Finally got around to it again. I'm about 60 pages in and I find the writing to be terrific. David Grann really knows how to write and make a work of nonfiction feel like the best of the fictional mystery novels. His prose is really gripping.
Highly, highly recommend to everyone before the movie drops.

I like having the original cover anyways, I hate it when they put out a reprint of the original book but with the cast of a movie on it. That might be just a me thing.

Though I do like my copy of The Lord of the Rings with Ian McKellan on the front just giving you the "you're not even gonna read this whole fucking thing. You're just gonna watch the movies and lie to your friends that you read the three books" look.

Just finished the book, what a good read. The way it's structured really pulls you in but it makes me wonder just how much they're going into include in the film. The book goes into the further careers (or sentences) of those involved and also makes several speculations as to who else might have carried out these crimes. Looking at the cast I'm a little iffy about some of the selections but it's still one of my most anticipated future releases, even if those bastards pushed it back several more months.

My #1 most anticipated movie this year. Looks a billion times better than Irishman, so I might remain awake for it.

Premieres in a few minutes at Cannes. I'm surprised SnoBorderZero isn't there since he's practically next door.
