Cool.
Black Widow I surprisingly don't give too much of a shit about. The other three I want to see on varying degrees.

Uhhh... that might be a bit too much of a good thing... maybe space these things out a little. Four per year is what Marvel Studios has been building towards for a while now. They'd be there already if it weren't for COVID. As long as the films are all distinctive from one another, it shouldn't be a problem. Shang-Chi isn't likely to be very similar to The Eternals. Spider-Man always does well, even when the movie sucks, and Marvel Studios has rules against making movies that suck.

Spider-Man is Sony's call too. Marvel has no control over that release date.

Nothing is on a normal schedule. Hopefully they'll find a comfortable release schedule in 2022.

1godzillafan PhantomKnightWhich movie do you think will take that May 7th slot vacated by Black Widow? I’m thinking it’ll be either Quiet Place II or Spiral. Or shit, maybe even Boss Baby 2.

I think Lionsgate is too chicken shit to bump Spiral earlier. The movie never gained much hype traction and they don't have a streaming service as a safety net, like Paramount, WB, and Disney. If anything, they'll push it again.
Quiet Place does have hype and a streaming deal. There's a chance they might push it up. And since Croods did fine, Boss Baby is a better guess than you might think.

If they were willing to sit on these for an entire year it would be a special kind of stupid to put them out something like one month before theaters are really back in the swing of things.

I don't like that movie either. I love Scott Pilgrim. Some of Edgar Wright's best work so far.

Hmm. April 16th for the big one in Boise. Hopefully Godzilla vs. Kong is still in IMAX by then.
I wonder if there will be ScreenX and 4DX options? Might have to do them all. In one day.
