Not that. People incorrectly attributing the intro as a Full House gag. People seriously think that's supposed to be a Full House homage? They're watching the wrong reruns. They’re talking about the scene where Wanda, Vision and the kids are running through the park. |

This week's episode was a goddamn powerhouse. Also, I've never been much of an Evan Peters Quicksilver fan. He was fun in Days of Future Past, but people's love of him really coasts on his small screen time in that movie. He was in Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix too and barely registered in either. In fact his daddy issues in Apocalypse were super cringe and went nowhere. Aaron Taylor Johnson was better, and I'll say this to my grave.
His small appearance here is the best use of him since Future Past though. Not just because of the multiverse angle, but rather because he is hugely channelling John Stamos in his 30 seconds of screentime there and I am 100% here for it. |

Does this confirm the x-men are not getting rebooted by the mcu? No. It confirms the Fantastic Four aren't being rebooted and Trank's cast are returning. They're just likely doing what Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earth's already did. |

Does this confirm the x-men are not getting rebooted by the mcu? All it really does is confirm that the various X-Men timelines presented in the Fox films are part of the Multiverse of the MCU. Considering that Marvel/Disney now own those properties, there's no reason not to. It doesn't change much. Endgame and Into the Spider-Verse already firmly established the notion of a multi-verse for the average moviegoer, after all. |

The second half of that episode was pretty good. The stuff with Vision and Quicksilver this episode were great.
Though it occurs to me that they went from Family Ties/Full House to Malcolm in the Middle, which didn't debut until 2000, and they skipped the 90's mostly. What I think would have been cool is if they did a 90's episode entirely animated like the Simpsons, which was pretty much the dominant dysfunctional family comedy of that decade. But alas, that's just my head fan fiction.
