It sounds as though the series may be taking some inspiration from Vision's latest ongoing solo series, in which he builds a wife & kids, as well as a dog, then takes up residence in the suburbs.  |

They have been saying that the MCU will be focusing more on the cosmic side of things in the post Infinity stories. Between that and the collapse of SHIELD in The Winter Soldier, using SWORD makes perfect sense. If they start making horror movies, perhaps we'll get ARMOR as well.

Of all the Marvel Studios shows coming to Disney+, this is the one I'm most looking forward to. They appear to be doing something truly different with WandaVision. So far, they've never gotten into Wanda's ability to warp reality in the MCU, or her aptitude for magic. It also looks like they'll be addressing the fact that due to the magnatude of her powers, she's not entirely stable.

I'm going to do a Hail Mary prediction: There's going to be a "Darren on Bewitched" gag during one of the sitcom fantasies and Aaron Taylor Johnson is going to be recast as Evan Peters. I read this amazing short story a few years ago about the First Darren. In it, Darren's mother-in-law cast a spell to replace him with a husband who was more to her liking. We learn this as he's at a bar, explaining his situation to the guy next to him. Surprisingly enough, the guy at the bar has no trouble at all believing all of Darren's crazy tales about witches and spells because he's an astronaut whose girlfriend is a 2,000 year-old genie named Jeanie. |
