Fun fact, I don't think you were allowed to say "pregnant" on TV for a long time. (Obviously you couldn't make jokes about water breaking or show dogs piss either, but that's less interesting.) Yep. The episode of I Love Lucy where Lucy finds out she's "having a baby" is titled "Lucy is Enceinte" to work around that, as "enceinte" is a Latin word for pregnant. They couldn't let the viewer think the characters were having ess-eee-ex, to the point where married couples had to be portrayed sleeping in twin beds. Though how Little Ricky wound up inside Lucy is one of TV's biggest mysteries. |

This show is best exemplified by that annoying scene of the neighbors starting to tell Vision a secret, then stopping before they do, then starting to do it, then stopping again, before finally giving the tiniest bit.
I'm enjoying it enough, but another week of this and I'll say that my patience has finally worn thin.

This should have been the third episode. First and second episodes could have easily been the black and white and into color premiere two-parter with some jokey elements and then some revealing final moments. Plenty could have been trimmed out of those jokey three into two 40-ish minute episodes, which would have been a great transition into the episode we got today the following week.

Episode 4 comes a long and makes it worth watching...

That opening scene was pretty wild. Cool that they showed that. It was really good, best part of the series so far for me by a mile. The chaos and confusion of these people suddenly returning, especially in a hospital with everyone rushing around. Really strong scene. Episode 4 was the jolt this series needed. I agree with Fanible that the first two episodes really should've been squished together as one, but I guess that's why they were released at the same time. The pacing has finally picked up and a lot of the annoying elements of overly teasing us have largely diminished. |

So should I be watching this or not? If you enjoy the MCU, then yes, for sure. This is going to be an important part and possibly also a connection to the next Doctor Strange. It might not be a bad idea to wait until all the episodes are out. This will likely be a great binge show, or treated like a long movie. |
