1godzillafan wasn’t here to keep me entertained. That’s fine. Live and Let Die I have to work you know. But I feel you. Diamonds isn't great. Better than the worst Moore stuff, but it's a stinker compared to Connery's other flicks. I've read the book to Diamonds Are Forever. It's a pretty good read from what I remember. And the movie so off in it's own direction that it kind of makes it a bit funny to watch after the fact. I need to finish reading the Bond books now that I think about it. I read the first four then I misplaced my copy of From Russia with Love and I just never got back to it. |

I read the first four then I misplaced my copy of From Russia with Love and I just never got back to it. I read the first three (Casino Royale, Live and Let Die, Moonraker) but wasn’t super impressed and didn’t bother with the rest. Funny to think Diamonds Are Forever is the next one. |

Live and Let Die : not a fan
Jane’s gorgeous. The villains are fun. Some cool action scenes. But the story’s a bore and Moore’s too vanilla.

I don't like Live and Let Die either. I might even think it's my least favorite Bond. It's a war between that one and 60's Casino Royale.
I also don't like Octopussy and View to a Kill, but those ones are goofy enough that I'll give them laugh points.
