So the plot, if you need refreshing, is Elliot Carver of the Fake News media trying to start war between England and China so he can sell newspapers. Bond has 48 hours to prove Carver is the one instigating.

The hotel room scene between Brosnan and Hatcher is one of the better “quiet scenes” in the Bond series. I’d be curious to know what Daniel Craig fanboy PhantomKnight thinks of the scene and one of Brosnan’s brooding moments. |

They could have given the Teri Hatcher death more weight but made up for it with the amazing BMW scene.

Tomorrow Never Dies has a very 90’s action movie feel to it, but then you get ridiculous scenes like the motorcycle chase that remind you it’s a James Bond movie.

The obligatory Michelle Yeoh does martial arts scene. This movie was ahead of its time. It would be a giant hit today with its China pandering.

Pretty standard Bond ending. Brings down the movie a notch. But overall, it’s a good Bond installment. It has plenty of memorable scenes to make it worthy.

They should have retitled this movie to Elekta King: The Movie. The character and her performance are what makes the movie work.
