So not sure how much I can say because I signed a disclaimer but with the help of a friend I landed a job as a Production Assistant on the Universal Studios lot. I'm working on a major release for summer 2016 directed by a very notable director, I'll tell you which one as we get closer. Yeah it's only a PA job which is entry-level in the entertainment industry but hey I'm more than happy to work my way up in doing something in the industry that I always dreamed of getting into. For every grocery store or lunch run I've done I've been able to do some pretty cool stuff going over footage or sitting in on meetings. In the two weeks I've been here I've learned a ton and am really excited to see where this goes. It's also pretty cool to work at Universal and drive by all the sound stages every day. I'll keep you updated as things go along. Congrats!!!! Don't forget about us little people when you make it big. |

So, almost 11 years after nearly losing his life in Iraq, my brother has made the decision to have the lower portion of his leg amputated. Its gonna be a rough journey, but the pain the thing has caused him over the years with the shrapnel damage I wouldn't wish on anyone. There is way too much calcification at this point and I think the amputation was really inevitable.
Dude has been a firefighter/EMT/paramedic for almost all of his adult civilian life, and God bless him for continuing that work when 11 years ago he should've by all rights died multiple times. He may have to give that up now. It's going to be a rough couple of months, but my only hope is that my family can give him, my sister in law, and my niece and nephew the support that they need.
At least he still has his sense of humor, he laughed pretty hard when I suggested he turn it into a lamp ala " A Christmas Story".

A lot of English is messed up because England got invaded so often. For example: Using the letters GH from Tough, O from Women, and TI from Action... Ghoti can be pronounced "Fish"  |
